FOREWORD
Let’s walk within the labyrinth of our soul. Let’s look within and find out what our inner self/soul wants to tell us. This is going to be a journey in spiritual development, in how to develop and trust our inner guidance.
I never thought of myself as being psychic, and I still doubt I am. I strongly believe in the messages I receive from Spirit, but it has nothing to do with giving messages to people. I only transmit what I receive. I don’t contact anyone in Spirit; I am here when they need me to transmit messages to my clients. Sometimes animals and pets come to deliver a message to loved ones. I recently channeled a horse; it told me it was the reincarnation of someone in the family, and it had come to look after the daughter in the family.
What is the difference between being psychic and being spiritual?
Not all psychics are spiritual, and not all spiritual people are psychic; they are two different realms. Fortune tellers call themselves psychic and in a sense damage real psychic people. Psychics have what we call a sixth sense: they can look into the past, the future, or the present. A medium could also be psychic but can tune into a higher level of awareness. A medium is the messenger between the spirit world and the physical world.
The same applies when calling ourselves intuitive or psychic. Being intuitive is very useful. A friend was driving with a window down when she clearly heard in her head, Quick, close the window!
She did, and a few minutes later, a rock hit the car. She would have been hurt if the window had stayed open. A similar event happened to a girl in the group: she was driving with the car window down, but it started raining. As it occurred to her that it would be better to quickly close the window, she changed her mind, trusting her intuition. That’s why she was able to see a car going through a red light; it would have hit her straight away. If the window had been up, she wouldn’t been able to see the car coming.
I love that sort of examples, as I’ve never had such experiences myself.
There is also a difference between being spiritual and being religious, due to a disconnection with the teaching of the church.
During a spiritual gathering in a big hall in Melbourne, I received the message to improve my spiritual awareness. I had no idea what Spirit was talking about. I was already reading Tarot cards to friends, but that was about it. I therefore booked in for a Tarot course. That’s when I realized that I knew more than I thought, and I was wasting my time in this class. During one of the sessions, the leader of the group gave me a ring and asked me to tune in and see if I was getting any messages. I didn’t get anything. I could only see a big void; everything was black. I thought then I had no psychic abilities whatsoever. One other member of the class had a spiritualist church in the area and asked me out of the blue if I could give readings on Saturday afternoon to the members of her church. That was a big step forward. My main concern was my French accent: to be understood when giving a reading is not obvious, but she said it was not a problem at all. (I supposed she really needed me.) This was a lovely push from Spirit. It went well, and it gave me a new confidence in myself, and it also helped me improve my English.
I believe the main obstacle in our life is ourselves. We believe we can’t do it; we are not good enough, and it stops there.
Later, I booked in a spiritual development class, and the leader of the group announced that at the end of the class, everyone would be able to give readings. I thought, Oh dear, everyone but me. I discovered that every member of the class thought the same. The teacher was right, we all could give readings at the end of the year. The teaching was very practical, and we had plenty of tools to work with. It was a beautifully structured course; it gave me for the first time some confidence in my own abilities.
The aim of this book is to show that if we trust our guidance and our intuition, we all can achieve it.
This book will demonstrate one of the many ways to access our inner guidance. We need to use our common sense in every circumstance. If we are inclined to follow a guru, we may ask ourselves: Why would I believe in them more than in myself?
We have such poor self-esteem that we prefer to follow someone else instead of ourselves. Why would we put the teacher on a pedestal instead of looking at her as a human being like us?
I started to be part of a group at some stage but felt out of place after a while. I didn’t want to leave out of loyalty until someone said to me that in staying in that group, I maybe kept someone else from being part of it. So I left and felt much better after. Sometimes, it is the teacher himself who wants to be a guru. Before starting a new course, we always have to make sure that we feel comfortable with the leader and with the teaching.
Starting a spiritual journey is going to change not only ourselves but also our loved ones, our family, our friends, and our acquaintances, which means we could face some personal challenges. It will force us to stand by our beliefs, and we could lose a few friends in the process. We are going to allow ourselves to lift the veil from before our eyes and see differently the world around us. There’s no need, either, to explain the changes we are going to experience in our life.
Find the space to practice the exercises provided in this book; maybe involve a friend. Practice together, and have fun. We have nothing to lose but lots to gain.
CHAPTER ONE
26581.pngProtection and Intent
We always start the class by lighting a candle and dedicating it. We also use a galactic elixir for protection. There are products I made myself, and each one has a color associated with it.
For the first chapter, we use red Antares for maximum protection. We put three drops on our left wrist, and we put our two wrists together. We send this red energy to the light, creating a beautiful circle of red light all around us for heavy protection.
We bring the energy back together to open and protect the crown chakra, the top of the head, and open and protect the third eye on the forehead between the eyes, the seat of intuition. We open and protect the temple of awareness—the eyes, nose, mouth, ears. All our senses are going to be open and protected.
We open and protect the throat chakra, allowing ourselves to speak freely without any judgement. And we block the back of the neck, which is the psychic gate, so no lost soul can come through. Then we move back to the third eye, gently going down to the heart chakra. We stay there for a while, opening the heart and feeling up our heart with this red for passion, life force, and energy. We open and protect the heart, then move down to the solar plexus, opening and protecting the seat of the I am.
Then down to the spleen, the deep memory bank, which we want to be nicely opened and protected. We get rid of any shock there, then move down to the base chakra, remembering that we agreed to incarnate in this lifetime. We open up and protect the base, sending this energy to the earth, to the mineral kingdom, and the crystals of the world. Then we bring it up to the light and breathe it three times while asking for love and protection for this session and after.
Why Would I Start This Journey? What Are My Expectations?
Human beings are complicated. On one hand, we believe we are really good and clever, and on the other hand, we think we are hopeless and that we don’t deserve to be loved. How to accept ourselves as we are? How can we connect with others? The answer is simple: in connecting with our inner selves, with our souls, we can understand others. Daring to look at our dark side will allow us to change and become better people.
The secret is to learn about the interaction between human and spiritual energies for the purpose of growth and enlightenment. Learning clairvoyance and energy channeling is not an outcome in itself. It is what we do with this knowledge. It will also develop our healing abilities; we need to look truly at ourselves in order to let go of the self and turn our energy to others.
What Is Our Intent?
Why are we interested in developing our psychic
abilities? Why suddenly are we
