Are we as Christians walking in circles around our own egos and inflated sense of self-importance?

Are we only pretending to deny ourselves, and carrying our crosses to follow Jesus?

We must be, otherwise, we would be walking with the fire of Christ in our hearts and the enlightening inspiration and protection of the Holy Spirit in our daily lives.

We would be surely working as apostles to mirror the face of Christ in all our interactions and building brick by brick a new earth in a new heaven.

Unfortunately, we lack spiritual integrity, which requires a pure body, a divinely inspired mind and the presence of God's spirit in our hearts.

The appeal of our world is too strong and we are still just pretending, just wanting to want to reunite with Christ in our hearts but doing anything effective to achieve that goal.

Every step of the way we find in this world the lies of Satan trying to disintegrate the richness of our divine spirit.

We can still walk the path of Christian spiritual integrity if we want. 

We can still recover -even in this world- our divine spiritual inheritance. 

Whether we accept it or not, there is a spiritual war in our world right now, and the trophies that the dark forces are seeking are our souls.

Nothing less.
