WILL VACCINES STOP THE SPREAD OF VIRUS OR END THE PANDEMIC?

    A TIMELINE

Update on COVID-19 and a Note from the Author

    April 20, 2021

It has been more than a year since the pandemic started. Over 3,146,119 people around the world have died as a result of COVID-19, the respiratory infection caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus. To date, 574,313 Americans have died. We have several vaccines on the market in the United States, but the virus continues to spread unabated. One year later, the threat of infection is not over, even if we want it to be.

This book will provide information on how to protect yourself and your family. All that I suspected would happen as a result of the pandemic has come to pass with one exception... a consensus of acceptance that these deaths are simply the way it has to be if it means Americans can get back to enjoying a life of travel, social engagement, and open businesses. There seems to be a complicit agreement to simply live with the virus in the United States, with the hope that mass vaccinations will eventually lead to herd immunity.

    Update: October 6, 2020

Donald Trump, the President of the United States and the First Lady, Melania Trump have tested positive for coronavirus and are currently experiencing COVID-19 symptoms. While Melania Trump’s symptoms are reported as mild, President Donald Trump’s condition resulted in a three day visit to Walter Reed Hospital. He has since been discharged and is currently recovering from this illness at the White House. The President is not the first head of state to contract coronavirus. Prime Minister Boris Johnson and President Jair Bolsonaro also contracted the virus. The virus continues unabated around the world, with over 1,048,742 people dead globally, as a result of COVID-19. The United States of America has the highest death toll with 210,886 people dead as a result of the virus. The U.S., India, and Brazil is currently leading the world in the number of infections.

I wrote this book with an almost fevered passion, completing it in less than a couple of days after extensive research on the virus and its origins over a period of several months. The SARS CoV-2 virus is incredibly infectious. Its predecessor, the first SARS coronavirus, first appeared in 2003. It didn't take long for scientists and WHO (World Health Organization) to speculate that SARS is not only spread through direct person to person contact, but that it may also be an airborne virus (see WHO periodicals on SARS dated February 2003-2020). Over 8,000 people were infected globally and 774 people died between 2003 and 2004. WHO and many of the scientists
