The mysteries and crimes lurking within the depths of that dark alley would thrust him into a world he had only dreamed of before.Within Crook's Nook, Jacob stumbled upon a clandestine gathering of hooded figures, exchanging a strange, pulsating violet substance that seemed to possess an otherworldly power. And in an instant, his life transformed forever.

 

A tear gas canister filled with the very essence of that mysterious substance engulfed him, leaving Jacob unconscious and unaware of the metamorphosis taking place within him. When he awoke, he found himself forever changed, no longer just the diligent journalist, but something more—something extraordinary.

His once ordinary existence was replaced by extraordinary abilities. Jacob had become Nova-1, a being of violet energy capable of bending reality to his will.
