DEDICATION
I want to thank my sisters Jessica and Jamie, for always being there for me when I literally had no one. For being my mom and my dad even when there were a thousand better things going on. I know I haven't always been the easiest baby sister, this being a fact. Life has shown us the good, the bad, and the ugly, but we always bounce back and better than ever. I Love y’all so much, they haven't even created words to be equivalent. Thank you for EVERYTHING! Getting me straight when I was all over the place, always having space for me and my tribe. JUST EVERYTHING!
Thank you to my best friends that stayed up with me at all hours of the night while I wrote, reminding me of little things like to rest, to go get some sunlight, or to interact with others because IT'S MY STORY and IT'S NOT GOING ANYWHERE. Also to breathe & remember that this is the past, while reflecting on my progression & prizes of today.Thank you for allowing me to cry over the phone while writing, typing, and editing, just to celebrate the events that took place to get me here today.
Thank you to everyone that gave written/verbal consent to use their legal names in the series. I am forever honored and thankful for the opportunity.
Lastly, I would like to thank each person that dedicated a moment or few to my series, whether the intention was set in place or a random event. I’ve stated on numerous occasions since being able to control my own tomorrow be careful of your role in someone's life, for it will become your character in their book.
Now this was not a literal quote, it simply meant be wise of how others perceive you if you chose to be in their life. Since then, I have put my words into action. Events are going to take place in my life, & I refuse to sit around and dwell. I am going to write it out, publish, and pray that it's a guiding light to those in their own darkness. So in all literal sense, Thank you for becoming characters in my series..

To My Favorite Girl in the world
DEAR MARI,
Thank you for allowing me to be your human. Thank you for being the light I needed in my life. You are one of the best gifts in the world. We met when I was at a young age which just means we really had a chance to grow up together. We had great times, and shit got sticky, but we always pulled through with smiles on our faces. Tougher and wiser than before. I've taught you many lessons and so have you for me. I will never take it lightly being your mama bear. You're literally my favorite girl in the whole world and no one will ever take your place. Continue to do your thing shining bright in all the darkest
