T his book is dedicated to all the women who’ve been wronged by men time and time again and have yet to give up on the pursuit of a life filled with love, joy, and abundance. May life’s troubles never cause you to lose sight of your dreams or to give up on yourself.
Preface
A fter what felt like the umpteenth romantic break up that I had experienced in my twenty years of dating, I decided that I had had enough. I was tired of the ups and downs in my quest towards romantic love. It was at that moment that I decided to intentionally be single and figure me out.
A journey towards self-discovery is not an easy task nor is it one we should ever stop working on. I knew I needed to embark upon this journey to improve my quality of life. While none of my romantic pursuits mirrored each other, I was still the common denominator. I knew I needed to dig deep and figure out what I needed to resolve within myself in order to have a healthy, fulfilling, and long-lasting romantic relationship with a partner.
While working through my unhealed traumas, self-doubt, and other negative thought patterns, I also took the time to evaluate my past relationships. I realized there were times when I ignored red flags and avoided confrontations by not speaking up for myself. There were also times when I accepted
