About this ebook

Four zombie-obsessed friends are mind boggled and horrified when two undead bodies pay their house a visit on one of their movie nights.
The Zombie Attack At Home is a short story from the short story collection book "When Life Strikes Midnight." Check out the book so you can read the rest of my stories in that collection!

In more detail: Angeline, Scarlet, and James happily plan a nightly hang-out to see a new zombie movie to get an adrenaline rush with the horror, however, they grow petrified when there's a knock on the door and two real-life eccentric zombies stand before them. Humorously enough, they don't seem to be anything like the zombies from the movies, but it doesn't stop them from protecting their brains from being eaten.

About The Author

I spend most of my time reading, writing, or creating art. When I am not doing any of those things, I am listening to music or obsessively binge-watching animated shows and movies. I always have my head in the clouds, daydreaming of all sorts of ridiculously divine things that transport me away from the real world, and I love moving through life that way. I live happily somewhere on planet Earth.

The Zombie Attack At Home - Sharon Forester

The day was bright and sunny. The summer sun was always shining in the sky. Angeline and I were running through a sidewalk to get to a store. I touched the door of our destination.

    I beat you!

I don’t think so! Angeline made it through the door, tripping me and we both fell to the ground. I got to my feet and helped Angeline up. You are a monster!

Thank you, Scarlet! she laughed. What are we getting again?

I laughed as a response. We started looking around the store. The place was made out of wood. The ground was brown, but the walls were white. In this store, they were selling all the usual stuff like clothes, shoes, video games, movies, and books. I turned to Angeline and reminded her, We came here to do James a favor, remember?

Angeline was thinking for a second as if trying to remember. What was that favor again?

I laughed. You are a forgetful one, my friend. I spotted a colorful outfit behind Angeline. I took it and held it out to her. This totally fits you.

Ewww! No, Scarlet! You know all I wear is black! She gestured to the clothes she was wearing. She wore dark jeans and a black shirt, black jewelry and black sandals.

Why don’t you try wearing colors like me? I was wearing a long colorful necklace, which matched my dark blue jeans with a long-sleeved colorful shirt and rainbow Converse.

Never? Scarlet, can you tell me why we’re here?

I walked down the movie aisle with her. Remember, Angeline, we are here to get James the movie he wanted. It’s called The Zombie Attack.

What is it with him and his friends loving zombies?

Once I spotted the movie, I snatched it from the isle. I held it out to Angeline. Here it is.

Ooh, lovely. She grabbed the movie from my hands and threw it in another direction.

    Angeline!

Scarlet! she sang back sarcastically with a smirk.

We can’t play games right now. We have to head home before the darkness takes over the day.

Awww, someone is still afraid of zombie movies. Let’s go home so we can run into our room before your psycho boyfriend comes in and scares the living daylights out of you.

I grabbed another copy of the movie instead of going off to retrieve the copy Angeline already threw and went to the cashier. You can’t always be making fun of James or bother him because I love him. I gave the movie to the cashier and looked through my colorfully small purse. And if you’re my best friend, you will let it all go and get used to the fact that James is with me.

Scarlet, relax. I won’t hit him this time.

After paying for the movie, Angeline and
