About this ebook

A thief enters Amun's tent, who tells him an eerie secret. The owner of the Bes was mysteriously murdered. The Bes owner had left a message for Amun, which was stolen by bandits on the way. Amun seeks the advice of the Guardian Dwarf to uncover the truth of this message. The dwarf tells him about a sorcerer who has been worshiping the devil in the haunted forest for forty years to enhance his magical powers and gain control over the world. To thwart the sorcerer's intentions, Amun acquires a sword by enslaving a witch from the Blue Desert. In the next stage, Amun brings black monkeys from the Black Forest. However, upon entering the haunted forest, he confronts a captive giant slave of the sorcerer along with his black shadows. Here, an odd predicament arises before Amun: none of the magical artifacts in his magical bag can defeat the sorcerer. Only the sorcerer's own slave giant can vanquish him. But why would a slave betray his own master when he holds the power of life and death over him?

Adventure of Ghost Jungle - Miss Faria

    Chapter 1

Amun had just woken up when he was startled by a loud noise coming from outside. Reacting quickly, he rose from his bed. The sounds of voices outside indicated that a group of people were in pursuit of someone, accusing them of being a thief. Amun contemplated whether to join the commotion outside, but before he could make a decision, the curtain of his tent was lifted, revealing a disheveled man of middle age who entered the tent in a state of extreme fear. The man's clothing was torn and shabby, his hair unkempt, and his beard untrimmed, resembling that of a beggar. Amun was taken aback by the sudden intrusion. Once inside, the man anxiously scanned the tent, as if desperately seeking a hiding place. Upon hearing Amun's voice, he swiftly turned and approached Amun, leaning in closer. Before Amun could grasp the situation, the man abruptly moved forward and clung to his feet.

Hey, who are you? And why were you in my tent sneaking around? Where are you going? Amun said, pulling his legs back.

Save me, for God's sake, save me! I am not a thief, he said in a trembling voice, tightly entangled with Amun's legs.

My legs! Let go of my legs! Who are you and why have you entered my tent like this? Amun tried desperately to free his legs.

But the beggar was firmly clutched onto his legs. Outside, continuous noise and the sounds of running could be heard.

Old man, perhaps around fifty years old, had sneaked into Amun's tent, and nobody had seen him entering. Otherwise, surely many people would have followed him.

I will tell you everything about myself, but please save me from these people first. They think I'm a thief. They all have swords and daggers ready behind me, Old man said, trembling severely. His body trembled as if he was suffering from intense cold.

Alright, if you are not a thief, I will save you from them. But first, let go of my legs, Amun said.

Old man raised his head, looking at him with pleading eyes. His eyes were red, and tears streamed down his face. Looking at his appearance, Amun realized that he was someone in distress, not a thief.

You won't hand me over to those people, right? he said, looking at Amun with fearful eyes.

No, I won't. But now step back and stand up, Amun said in a soft tone, and he stood up after releasing his legs. His body was shaking uncontrollably, and he kept looking towards the tent door with terrified eyes as if someone might come in.

Don't worry. Without my permission, no one will enter my tent, reassured Omar, seeing his fear.

You are telling the truth. No one will come here, he said.

No, no one will come. replied Amun. He reassured him after seeing the innocence reflected in his face.

If you tell me, I'll hide somewhere. This man said in a fearful tone. Hearing the noise outside, he was continuously getting anxious as if someone would come and catch him.

I said that no one would enter without my permission, so why are you worried? Amun said.

At that moment, Amun heard the sound of footsteps outside his tent. Upon hearing the sound of footsteps, the fear on the old man's face intensified. Without thinking any further, he immediately bent down and swiftly moved under Amun's bed with great speed. Seeing him hiding under the bed like that, Amun involuntarily bit his lips.

Amun, are you awake? A voice was heard from outside.

Yes, I am awake, Amun said in a loud voice.

"I am a soldier. Can I come into your tent? We saw a thief near the tents. When we chased him, he ran towards the camp and disappeared. We are afraid that he might have entered your tent. The soldier said from outside.

No one has come here. Anyway, come inside, Amun said. He deliberately said that no one had come so that the old man hiding under the bed would understand that he had no intention of handing him over to anyone.

At that moment, the curtain of the tent was lifted, and two guards entered. They were holding swords in their hands. As soon as they entered, their eyes started moving quickly in all directions.

What thief are you talking about? Amun asked in a sharp tone, looking at them.

He is a thin, frail old man. His beard, mustache, and head hair have grown unkempt. He is wearing a light green worn-out outfit. The soldier said,

Where did you see this old man? And how can you say he is a thief? Amun replied in a sharp tone,

"I was standing on a high rock, overseeing the camp. Suddenly, I saw this man near the tents. He was moving around in a mysterious manner, lurking around different tents. He even attempted to peek into a couple of them. I signaled him from a distance, and he ran behind the tents. I jumped down from the rock and came down with my comrades towards him. We looked everywhere but couldn't find him. It made us suspicious that he might have disappeared like no one else. The soldier replied.

Was he also wandering around my tent? Amun asked the
