About this ebook

Jesus said to the woman at the well, who had come to draw water for her house, "Give Me a drink of water." The woman said to Jesus, "Why are you asking me for a drink of water, you know that your people and my people have no dealings with each other?" Jesus said to the woman, "If you knew who it is that is asking you for a drink of water, you would ask Him for a drink of living water and He would give it to you that you have a well spring of this water within you." This conversation led to the salvation of the gentiles. All people of the earth need this living water. You can have it for yourself. This book explains the details.

    Introduction

To write:  to grave or engrave on the heart is the meaning of the Greek word grapho.  What I have written, I have written. (John 19:22).  King David said, the Lord made me understand in writing by His hand upon me (Chronicles 28:19).

There is something about taking pen to paper that opens up the flow of the Holy Spirit to give understanding. Habakkuk 2:2 And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

The things that have been written from my heart are for others, so they can run their race.  The vision is for an appointed time that the just may live by his faith. (Habakkuk 2:3-4)

One generation shall pass understanding to the next generation. A city that sits on a hill is for all to see.  A candle in a room gives light to all that enter.  Jesus was crucified openly for all to see, so all men can have understanding of the Gift of God that is given to them.

The Gift of God came from my heart as I listened to the Holy Spirit day after day, little by little, one thought after another, one scripture after another until the image of what He wanted to communicate was engraved on paper.

Now as you read The Gift of God, I pray that the Holy Spirit engrave it upon your heart just as sure as He engraved the ten commandants on two tables of stone in the days of Moses. For He said that this is the covenant that I will make with them in those days (these days), I will write them upon the tables of their hearts.

2Co 3:3  Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

Upon reading The Gift of God, you will see more clearly the things that the Father has given you in Christ Jesus to make your life complete now and forever, and that others see your light as a city built upon a hill. People will be drawn to you because of the gift of God that is within you.

John 3:16 shows His love for you.  For God so loved the world (you) that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Romans 6:23, For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

    The Gift of Creation Authority

The Apostle Peter was amazed at what he beheld with his eyes when he looked upon the fig tree that Jesus cursed only twenty four hours earlier by saying, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever.

Mar 11:20  And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.

Mar 11:21  And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away. Mar 11:22  And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

Mar 11:23  For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Mar 11:24  Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. Mar 11:25  And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. Don't forget forgiveness.

Where did the Son of Man get this authority to do these things in the earth? He gave man this authority when He was created and walked in the same authority as a man on the earth.  Gen 1:26  And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them (all) have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Gen 1:27  So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Gen 1:28  And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

So we see that the first gift of God to man was authority over all the earth. This authority is in the words we speak. Notice what Jesus said, Whosoever shall say to this mountain. Which mountain? The mountain they were standing on, treading on. It was the same mountain in which the fig tree was growing. Do you see man's authority here over the mountain and everything that is growing in it?

Notice the second gift that God gave man according to Genesis 1:29 which states, And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. God gave man provision in all things.

Notice the power that words have over everything that God created and made.  In the creation, God first said, then God saw, then God made, then God called and then it was so. Once it was so, nothing could change it forever.  The fig tree was cursed forever.

This authority that Jesus walked in while on earth is given to man forever. Romans 12:3 states that God has dealt (given) to every man the measure of faith.  He did not say a measure of faith, but the measure of faith.  The key is that it must be believed in the heart and activated with the mouth.

Jesus explained to His disciples how the God kind of faith works in Mark 11:23. This is truth, that whosoever shall say to this present mountain, Be thou removed and be thou cast in to the sea and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he says shall come to pass, he shall have whatsoever he says. Notice the little word Be.  The same word God used in the beginning when He created the universe. Such a small word, like a mustard seed, so to speak, has great power.

Notice what Jesus said in Matthew 17:20, And Jesus said unto them, ...for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Because of man's authority (his words), he can move any present mountain out of his way with his tongue, which has the ability to speak such small words as, Be thou removed and Be thou cast into the sea . He must speak directly to the mountain and not about the mountain.

In Mark 11:24 Jesus told His disciples,  Therefore (or because of verse 23, which is truth), I say unto you, What things soever you desire when you pray, believe that ye receive them and you shall have them.

So, faith is a matter of the heart.  We must believe in our heart that the things we say and pray will come to pass because we know God is listening and that He will grant our requests that are in line with His will (word).  Before Jesus raised Lazarus from the grave, He said to the Father, I know you hear me always.

Our brother John tells us in his epistle that whatever we ask God according to His will, We know that God hears us and we know that we have the things we ask of Him. (I John 5:14-15)  Jesus tells us that whatever we ask the Father in His name He will do it.  (John 14:14)

We must look in two places to find faith. We must look in the Word of God and we must look in our own hearts, and ask ourselves these questions. Do we believe the word of God as truth?  Has the word of God changed our hearts to believe The Father's word for His children?

If we can answer yes to these questions, then we will have what we ask and say. A good confession to say over ourselves daily is this.

I always have what I say, therefore I say all things in the love of God, because faith works by love and the love of God is shed abroad in my heart by the Holy Ghost, which is given to me. I say only what I hear my Father say and I do only what I see my Father do.  Nothing shall be impossible to me.

Notice Heb 11:6  But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

How do we come to God? We come to Him with the prayer of faith.  We must believe that He exists and that He desires to reward us with whatsoever we ask Him when we do it with
