God is Still Here, There, and Everywhere

About this ebook
My second book for Christ, God Is Still Here, There, and Everywhere, is written as my continuation walk with his blessings as in my first book. Our Lord God is truly a real God that loves his children. He is the One and Only heavenly Father to everyone.
He was there when I came to him in 1994, and he is still here with me today. God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. He taught me to be strong in my faith, to walk right with him, and to draw wisdom from him. Before knowing Christ, I have no experience of what the real meaning of a relationship with God was like. I was a Taoist (idol-worshipper) then, and everything that I have done was more like traditional beliefs (legalistic rules). I was struggling with it, and God opened my eyes to see his guidance. He gave me a choice to choose between slavery and freedom. I chose freedom. I can never forget the day God found me. He brought me out of the miry clay and made me what I am today. My phone stopped ringing that day, and I lost all my friends, and Jesus said in his clear voice that he will be my friend.
As children of God, I called myself a rock star as God is my Rock, and I am one of his many, many stars in the sky. Genesis 15:5 reads, "He took him outside and said, 'Look up at the sky and count the stars--if indeed you can count them.' Then he said to him, 'So shall your offspring be.'"
I thanked God for His true love for me. He gave me a chance to share my experiences as in testimonies in this book. If God can do it for me, he will do it for you too. Without God, I am nothing. All glory and honor to the one true Lord God Almighty.
Amen.

About the Author
Foreword
It is my great honor to write the foreword message for my good friend Khean Chin. I have known Khean for more than fifteen years now. He is compassionate about his ministry in writing for God. He loves sharing his experiences in Christ with anyone who came across his path. I have read many of his short stories or testimonies about what God has done in his life. Khean has been writing for the past five years.
Khean is married to his beautiful wife, Tammy. They live in Lynn, Massachusetts. They have three wonderful children, Melissa, Brandon, and Calvin.
Khean has written a truly inspirational book, and with the Lord's favor, it will bring encouragement to its readers. It is easy, simple, yet strong enough to draw one's attention to it. I want to take this opportunity to wish him a successful career in his writings for God.

Testimonies
The following three testimonies are about my three Children. These testimonies took place from 1995 to 1997.
My oldest daughter—Melissa Chin
When I came to the Lord, Melissa was nine years old and in grade three. She was a bright student until one day, the piano teacher complained to us that she was not paying much attention in her music class, and at times, she was not listening at all. I myself have noticed that I had to raise my voice to talk to her even at a close distance. Later, her schoolteacher told me that she had the same problem with her in school too. There were times when I called home, and she could hardly hear me well on the phone.
I decided to take her to see an ENT specialist in Assunta Hospital in Petaling Jaya, and she was later referred to another doctor in Kuala Lumpur. The latter confirmed that she had 50 percent deafness in her right ear. The doctor found some liquid in her hearing channel, and for this, microsurgery was needed. As I was not happy with the test, I went to see another specialist who reconfirmed the case. This brought us back to the ENT specialist in Assunta Hospital.
It was a Saturday when the ENT doctor explained to me that she needed surgery badly, or she would be totally deaf. He arranged Wednesday for Melissa's admission to the hospital. As we were getting to leave, we met a church member from our FGA church. We exchanged a few words and later told him about Melissa's problem while he listened attentively. Little did I know that this church member would call and inform the pastor and other church members to pray for my daughter, and that God's strength would sustain us during this difficult time.
The next day (Sunday morning), we went to the church as usual except that this time, both my wife and I went with a heavy heart knowing soon that Melissa would be going for surgery. During the service, a visiting pastor from Australia said that the Lord has laid upon his heart that there is a lady from the congregation that needs prayer. He said he was not sure why, but God had told him that this person has a problem with her health. At this point, our children's ministry teacher, Janice, brought Melissa out as she believed that the pastor was referring to her. She explained to the pastor about Melissa's problem and the pastor started praying for her. We were standing behind Melissa. Right after the prayer, the pastor told us, "She can hear now." I was rather surprised, and I'm sure my wife was too. To me, this was simply impossible. Unless this was a miracle.
We left the church without saying a word. As I was driving home, my wife broke the ice by asking, Do you think…
Before she could finish her sentence, I interrupted her and said, I don't know, but let's continue to pray about it.
I was a new Christian then, and prayers to me were just a few sentences, but I always made sure that my daughter's problems were brought before the Lord.
Monday came and went with no sign of improvement with Melissa's hearing. Tuesday came with anxieties and a restless mind. I told my wife to pack Melissa's clothing for admission to the hospital as Wednesday was creeping in quietly. We were talking when my daughter called her mother. Tammy went to Melissa's room to see if there was anything that she needed.
She came out of Melissa's bedroom with joy on her face, saying that Melissa could hear every word of our conversation in her room. We were excited and told Melissa to stay put in her room while we continued with our conversation to see how much she could hear. Well, thank God for this miracle as she was able to hear every word of our conversation.
Melissa never went for the surgery, and we never had to send her for any further checkups, as we knew the Lord had performed a miracle. The Lord never forsakes anyone who believes in him. This is the beginning of the many miracles that the Lord has done for my family. My worrying days are over. I have learned to rest them upon my Lord. Through him, nothing is impossible.
Today, Melissa has graduated, holding a good job and on her own. Thank God for all His guidance and strength.
Amen.
