    PREFACE

This manuscript consists of two volumes, precisely two manuals, with respective introductions, specific conclusions for both parts. Two steps to unify a single book that takes its cue from emotional manipulation to dark psychology basics. It is an interesting topic for those who want to control their emotions or better understand their meaning or scope. A practical and comprehensive manual suitable for beginners who are approaching the subject for the first time, but also an in-depth study for those who are already experts in the field.

Let's analyze specifically both books that make up the volume. The first book examines emotional manipulation by presenting the reader with the question:

›  do you want to take control of your emotions or through their use influence others?

In addition to asking this question and giving a long and profound explanation, the first book is based on how an individual cannot have a positive life if he has negative emotions.

The manual also explains how we can, through controlling our emotions, be able to take control of our lives, overcome problems, difficulties, stress, anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem. By improving our relationship with ourselves we can interact better with others. It also addresses the topic by setting the goal of manipulating others to control them. This can happen in interpersonal and professional relationships. Often, however, it isn't elementary to understand whether or not another person is manipulating you. This book tries to explain it to you, and clearly, it emphasizes that manipulation is always abuse and teaches you to recognize it.

The book also teaches you that the person who is being manipulated does not represent a victim because at any time is a person who is a master of himself and can make any decision he wants. The power of not falling prey to manipulation is to know your inner self well and thus have a more assertive personality to counteract any manipulator.

You will also find in detail the framework of emotional manipulation, how to understand what causes us negative emotions, and present manipulative phrases, common tricks, and techniques of mind control. The basic principle is that the person who is being manipulated understands if he is or not and is not the manipulator. By reading the book, you will know the way.

And after this first book comes the second step, which is the second part of the manual. It is a fundamental part because it deals with the dark psychology that is the basis of manipulation with its notions. It illustrates, in fact, the various types of manipulation that exist, such as emotional, economic, physical, etc.; reminding us that manipulation is everywhere around us, as many People do not realize they are being manipulated, but they have already won in practice if they recognize this manipulation.

From the earliest times, it was already coveted to influence the attitude of others. In addition, the majority of the entire population is divided into four personalities: optimistic, pessimistic, confident, and envious.

The second part of the book also mentions the practices of dark psychology, methods of dark persuasion and real-life applications, strategies for deciphering body language, manipulation techniques, and how to defend yourself from emotional predators. Above all, it makes us understand how an individual who might seem wise could instead be a manipulator of yourself ready to satisfy his needs by damaging your person.

In conclusion, this manual is divided into two parts that cannot be without one another. Theory and practice intertwining form a solid rope that will help you strengthen the mooring of the harbor of your soul. The goal is to make you know yourself better.

    CONCLUSION

    INTRODUCTION

Emotional manipulation aims to influence another person's behavior by employing specific tactics that may or may not be apparent to the person being manipulated or anyone else. The aim may be to change the behavior of the users and convince them that there are no alternatives and that their relationship with the manipulator is inevitable.

Although it may not be as apparent as other forms of abuse, it is still considered abuse. Emotional manipulation is regarded as emotional abuse that may or may not is associated with other forms of abuse, such as physical and sexual abuse.

Emotional manipulators use mind games to take power. The ultimate objective is to use the ability to control the other person. A healthy relationship is established on confidence, understanding, and mutual respect. It is true in intimate as well as in professional associations. Sometimes people try to exploit certain aspects of a relationship so they can profit in some way. There can be visible signs of emotional manipulation. They are often difficult to identify, especially when they do happen to you.

We want you to take away from this book because you are not the victim no matter how it is termed and what people say. This is not just wishful thinking or hyperbole. This is a straight fact and a way out of being manipulated. You are indeed not the victim because you can decide at any time you wish to throw it all away. This only works if there is no threat of physical harm to you or your loved one.

Sometimes, manipulation is a bit more difficult to spot—it can be finding ways to use insecurities against the victim without them being spotted. However, what holds is that manipulation is designed to override everyone’s inherent right to free will. This is not something to be proud of or to accept—if you are on the receiving end of manipulation, you should be trying to protect that free will as much as you can. If you are the manipulator, you may need to reconsider your motives and tactics.

Keep in mind that this does not condone the active and excessive use of manipulation as you read the rest of this. Controlling people is typically considered quite underhanded and cruel, and it should not be regularly occurring or at all if it can be avoided. It can be valuable to understand the art of manipulation to understand how the mind works or how manipulators will attack. Still, ultimately, the use of accurate manipulation is not recommended.

CHAPTER 1: THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MANIPULATION AND PERSUASION

    What Exactly Is Manipulation

Manipulation deals with using your actions, mannerisms, hands, and even other parts of your body to get someone to do what you want or to shape a situation to your desire. You could think of it as selfish, but I tell you that there is a drive-in every wrongdoing. Therefore, the drive behind Manipulation could be positively used. An instance can be seen in how a good DJ tries to bring different music modes together to display his skills in bringing many tunes together into a lovely mix of sounds to the audience.

We could say this is almost unfair to the original artist of each song. Also, someone that is good at manipulating would know how to do so in words, emotions, and feelings to the very end of getting his or her main desire. The practice of Manipulation could involve using an indirect scheme and plan to oversee relationships. Periodic Manipulation tells a friend that they are looking well when they are mentally depressed or/and physically down.

This is quite technical as it will affect your friend's perceptions of you, which will eventually translate to how the person relates to you. Emotional abuse can be associated with Manipulation, especially when it is experienced in remarkably close relationships.

Depending on the point of view, someone can consider Manipulation negative when the person being manipulated is affected physically, emotionally, or mentally. In contrast, another person can argue that manipulative helps put one's surroundings and environment, including people, into subjection and under control. Moreover, manipulators could find it hard to connect with their original selves, and being manipulated can lead to ill effects on an individual.

To understand Manipulation, you must identify the three major distinct types. First, we have Manipulation of options in which rewards or threats modify the environment options. The second one is the Manipulation of information; here, the individual's way of perceiving things is adjusted to understand the situation.

Also, psychological Manipulation is a process of influencing someone such that there is a change in mental cognition. During manipulative encounters, there are four main components of manipulations: the hearer, motive, covertness, and interest of the speaker. These are usually referred to as prerequisites to Manipulation. Any form of Manipulation is geared towards affecting a hearer or victim.

The target often will behave in such a way to oppose how he acts before being manipulated. In a manipulative situation, the manipulator has a larger vision spectrum, which means that the manipulator knows much better than the target. Talking about motive, is this not what characterizes Manipulation itself? The intention of the speaker determines to what extent the target is manipulated.

However, this intention cannot be known to the hearer, and it would be self-defeating. There is usually communication involving the hearer, the speaker, and the speaker's communicated motives.  For the widespread view on Manipulation to hold, it then needs to remain covert. I can assume to a large extent that the speaker’s motive is one crucial feature in Manipulation.

It is designed to suit the desire
