    INTRODUCTION

Book number one is, The Badge, The Balls and the Bull Sh-t. It starts off with a local murder of a teen age girl by a serial killer in the Hawaiian Islands and continues through violent crimes including attempts on the life of a tough detective that helped with the effort in denying a group of radical jihadists from building a mosque. The story further includes an armored car robbery by fringe organized crime elements, gun burglaries, thefts and assaults. His efforts to take out the radical jihadists caused outrage with the jihadists and several efforts on his life by a terrorist group in detailed real fast action shoot-um ups take place. A major marijuana grower starts being the confidential informant having a inside view with all criminal activity including the newly arrived jihadists that arrive on the island. This leads into the second book titled, Badge, Bullets and Blood.

The detective’s father, a retired police major and his fellow retired police officers, many with serious military experience, are shooters and take offense the jihadists effort to kill one of their own. As a result they develop a team of shooters that are intent on evening the score and bringing about justice. This is the justice that cannot be gotten from normal law enforcement or the judicial system. Further with the ex-con who is a big time marijuana grower and a confidential source of information, it only aids the illegal transmitting bug the retired officers in the squad deploy. In fact the retired officers gain even more valuable information on the terrorists than does the Joint Terrorism Task Force for the State of Hawaii. Their bug is in the heel of a shoe of one of the main players that travels to the Middle East. Offensive operations and unofficial bugging devices lead to several classic cases disguised shoot-um-ups never before heard of and battles including the use of drones for the illegal jihad operations.

The second book ends with a large scale attack planned in the Middle East by terrorists with the target being state and county government buildings loaded with government officials and politicians. Using drones, and female human bombers intent on causing much death, destruction, fear and panic on the infidels.

Book three, Badge, Battles and Betrayal, begins with the government buildings attack and continues with the fight for self preservation and the efforts to rid the islands of a takeover by Middle Eastern Terrorists. Both the official and unauthorized battles are for movie and TV screens and you will not be disappointed with the accurate violent action or the detailed shoot-em ups and the intrigue. The question that you will be asking yourself is, could there really be a group of retired police officers with military experience that are actually doing the elimination of bad guys like this?

    INTERESTING PLAYERS/THEME

Detective Bobby Olivares, is the son of retired Major John Olivares and the partner of Detective Brent Olson who are the hub and intelligence source for the Old Guys Squad. All are major players in the fight against the radical jihadists who want to take over powers of the world. The big lusting prize of the bad guys is as has been admitted, the U.S. and they want to start with the state, Hawaii. They feel it is vulnerable because it is remotely located bringing about a supply problem for the infidels. It will also be harder to reinforce the established government of the islands. They want to own this state.

Because of the limitations caused by tradition, legal protocol and methods of operation of government agencies who are obliged to protect our country in a democracy, a squad of retired law enforcement officers is born. In the series of three books, the first, The Badge, The Balls and the Bull Sh-t, most of the action against criminals and Jihadists was taken care of by the Police and Federal Law Enforcement. It started off with the radical Jihadists trying to assassinate Detective Bobby Olivares, plus a female employee of the County building department. Both had successfully prevented a mosque from being built on the Big Island which upset the jihadists overall plan.

The radicals kept sending hit teams to the Big Island to make good their attempt to kill Detective Olivares and the building department employee. That is where the Old Guys Squad started getting involved, taking care of business, eliminating the radical jihadists assassins on a regular basis.

The Old Guys Squad consisted of several retired police personnel who worked with or for the father of Detective Olivares’ father, retired Major John Olivares who was regarded as a great leader and a policeman’s policeman. Gaining information and intelligence through Detective Olivares obtained from confidential sources and the Joint Task Terrorism Task Force, the Old Guys Squad really gets down to business in book number two, Badge, Bullets and Blood. They are so effective that a few Federal Agents do not want to find out who is killing all the bad guys or making them disappear. Some of the young Feds think their methods are needed as they are not able to accomplish shutting the terrorists down, using traditional methods.

This book has the Old Guys Squad becoming a force to be reckoned with. Though the police and the federal law enforcement agencies play a part in catching the jihadists, The Old Guys squad is so effective in ridding the state of the terrorists that only a few government officials would like to see them identified and prosecuted for the deeds that they do, and that are looked at as unlawful under the law.

This no holds barred shoot-um-up action throughout this book will keep you up at night. It is supposed to. It will certainly make you think about what is currently going on. Be safe.

    CHAPTER I

    News Accounts of the

    Hawaii Jihad Attack

Americans from every state were glued to their television screens on December the 8 th. News reporter’s from all over the country were heading for the State of Hawaii. For the second time in modern history, the state had come under foreign attack. With shock, Hawaii had come under a second armed attack on December the 7 th . The Honolulu Tribune newspaper’s headline read, RADIAL JIHADISTS ATTACK ON DEC. 7 TH . The sub headlines read, AT LEAST 186 DEAD AND SCORES INJURED.

Front page images of destruction and carnage followed the story and headlines in the newspapers and the television media had a flow of video shots of damaged buildings and injured persons being administered to, being placed into ambulances and arriving at hospitals. Shouts and orders being given by officials, could be heard on the videos that were taken from peoples cell phones and home video cameras. It was not a pretty picture.

One newspaper story went like this. ‘It was another December 7th suffered by the Hawaiian Islands.

State and county buildings were attacked with drones that attacked using machine gun fire. Human bomb carriers, blew themselves up and snipers shot officials and citizens Terrorists participated in the carnage. Hospitals called back all emergency medical staff. The police started working double shifts.

Another Mid Western paper wrote. While the Senate and House were in session in the State building in Honolulu, at precisely 9:00AM women dressed in Muumuu’s escorted by men dressed in aloha shirts, walked up to entrance doors and stationed security personnel. They looked like people going to the special session as observers. But when security rejected their entry, all hell broke loose.

According to survivor Skipper Kulich a retired Air Force aviator who had a bird’s eye view of the Capitol building entrance, he told local reporters, "Several Middle Eastern women dressed in Muumuu’s with men accompanying them walked to the State Police Officers that were manning the door entrances.

When they were within a few feet of each other, the men quickly drew semi-automatic pistols from under their un-tucked aloha shirts. They shot first at the officers, then anyone who was in the way of the advancing women, who went to different sections of the floor and exploded their body attached bombs.

There were several, of really loud explosions that shook the building and made the constant gunfire seem very petite in comparrison. It was total carnage and turmoil. I thought I was going to die."

Kimo Hogan, an airline pilot told a reporter, It was sheer panic when the guns started going off with screaming and people dropping to the floor. Then the officers and some others near the women in the muumuu’s who were moving quickly to the populated areas, were yelling get down. Besides all of the screaming officials and guests, I remember someone was yelling at the top of his lungs to, ‘hit the floor’ and then, the loud bomb explosions went off and it became surreal. It was like being in a movie, except you could smell the gun powder and see people being blown apart. You could feel the pounding of the concussions of the bombs. The screams were chilling. It was simply a place that you did not want to be at, but you could not do anything about it. I remember Representative Koa Ewaliko jumping one of the terrorists and ripping the pistol out of his hand and turning it on the shooter, shooting him in the face.

Ewaliko, a military veteran then started shooting at the men terrorists who still had guns and were firing at anything that moved. I know that he took out a few of them before one of them shot him. He is a real hero."

The last that I saw of him was he ripping a pistol magazine from the belt of a downed terrorist that he shot and was starting a reload to the pistol. That’s when one of the terrorists shot him. I heard that he was shot up pretty bad. Plain clothes security detail officers shot the last of the standing terrorists who were still shooting. Then, thank God, the gunfire ceased. It is weird, but then there was a quiet, except for moans and cries for help. However, you could hear the shooting outside. It was like being at war.

Filipino taxi driver Gary Bomilomi a Vietnam Veteran, I was taking a fare to the capitol building and as I turned from the main street into the driveway, I saw several drone’s circling and then opening fire with some sort of machine guns at anything that moved. All of the sheriff’s cars were being shot up along with a car coming out of the underground parking area. That car crashed and I saw the driver slump down blocking the exit to the front area of the building. I just hunkered down with the lady that was my fare and as soon as the police cars started arriving, a couple of the drones started shooting at them. There was also sniper fire at the arriving officers. A few got shot, but one cop in a gray Charger came out of his car with a rifle that had a scope. I know for sure that he took out a couple of the snipers as after he shot at them, no more gunfire came from the areas that they were shooting from. That cop is a hell of a shot because they were shooting from over two or maybe three hundred yards away.

Megan Greenwald a bank teller was passing on a front street near the Honolulu police station when she was stopped by a motorcycle police officer about a block away. He told her to leave the area as there was sniper fire. She knew that the police parking lot has hundreds of police cars in it as well as some police officers running to and from their cars. "I felt fear and worry about the policemen getting shot.

As I was making a U turn, I observed the drone traveling about a hundred or hundred and fifty feet above the motorcycle cop when he drew his pistol and fired many shots at the drone bringing it down not too far away from where I was stopped. It was like being at the movies except it was for real and I was scared as hell. I then remember seeing several police officers running after a man who had a black brief case or something like one. He must have been the drone operator. I am sorry that I didn’t get to see the capture of that man, but I was hoping that the officers could outrun him." She related that she distinctly remembers hearing gun shots in the direction of the man being chased.

There were similar reports from citizens on the Big Island, where at 9:00AM the county buildings in Hilo and Kona were strafed by drones with automatic weapon gunfire. The parking areas were also attacked by a drone. Seconds later, there was sniper fire directed at each building. Four county employees were injured by gunfire in the county building in Hilo and as was a civilian, one county employee died.

In Kona three county employees were wounded by gunfire and three civilians were wounded in a parking area. One became a fatality after arrival at the hospital. At the police station five officers were wounded by sniper fire and three civilians were also wounded in the public parking lot by the sniper.

Two officers are in critical condition with them being wounded by the sniper who was subsequently shot and killed by other officers The drone only caused bullet damage to the roof, some windows and several police and civilian cars.

Maui and Kauai had similar attacks at 9:00AM. Maui had 7 law enforcement officers and a civilian wounded with two officers being killed at the police station. The county building had three civilian workers and a visitor wounded by a drone.

At the Maui county building, a propane tank exploded when hit by a drone bullet causing a fire that was quickly put out by the fire department, with no injuries occurring. Just one man was injured by the drone fire and the hidden snipers caused all of the other injuries. Both snipers were located and taken out by the police. They were found to be Middle Eastern. Only one senior police ranking officer died a short way from the police station. He was leading his men to attack the snipers.

Kauai had no officers wounded or injured but one civilian county employee and five civilian visitors that were in the parking lot were shot by a machine gun armed drone. It was the drone gunfire and not a sniper that caused the county employee to be shot. The Jihadist sniper shot and killed four of the visitors that he saw in the police station parking lot. The sniper fled and a search is underway for him.

A Television reporter with breaking news reported that several federal agencies are aiding the Hawaiian Islands, Police Departments with the investigations. Those being sought are the participants that got away and those that were responsible for getting them to the islands. At this time it is unknown how long this group, or cells have been here, but there is an all out effort to bring these terrorists to justice.

A joint police and federal news conference was held at noon on December 8th, the day after the carnage, but little was learned other than the methodology of the killers, the people that were killed and the count of the wounded and their known conditions. Officials related that many of the victims were local politicians. When a reporter asked if they considered this a terrorist attack and were the participants Middle Eastern, the special agent in charge of the FBI said that thus far, all of the attackers appear to be Middle Eastern and that they were looking at this investigation as a terrorist attack. No further questions were answered during this first conference.

A news conference was held every day for 5 days. Every day news briefings, provided information about names of the victims, accompanied by a short information piece on some of the political victims.

Statements of the gruesome task of cleaning up the mangled bodies and other debris were mentioned only briefly in evasive statements. However questions about the gruesome part of the news were continued by some of the media. There were given limited answers and cut short. The official speaker stating that, it was not proper to mention all details as they were really not worthy news items and could upset children and others who might be watching their TV sets. Numbers of deaths rose to 201 and many of the survivors had been taken off of the critical list. It was learned that one of the snipers on Oahu had been captured after being wounded on December 7th and was being treated for his wounds at a hospital location that officials would not disclosed.

It was further stated on the December 13th news event, that the drone operator at the location of the Honolulu Police Station had been wounded by police and captured as he tried to make his escape from the scene. When Megan Greenwald, the citizen who saw the police officers chasing a man with a black briefcase of sorts near the police station heard this, she was grateful and cheered in front of her TV when she observed the news. Also discussed at this news briefing was the yet to be finalized total cost to repair the buildings and to fix the many vehicles that were damaged during the attack. The cost was preliminarily determined to be in the several hundred million dollar area.

Not exactly understood by the press, Maui police indicated that they had two suspects in custody but would not elaborate, giving reasons of an ‘ongoing investigation’. The police would not even indicate if they were wounded from the fighting or were suspects picked up after the attack. This made it into kind of a mystery. But the officials stood their ground and were tight lipped.

Kauai police had served a search warrant on the day of the fourth news conference on a farm warehouse or barn located only 3 miles from the main police headquarters. They recovered a drone but indicated that no suspects were located. However the barn was set up with a makeshift living quarters and there was speculation that this location could have been the same one used in the drone attack on a police van transporting several female prisoners months earlier. The women were arrested for drug smuggling and were being taken to the airport for a flight to Oahu. The federal government was going to take over the prosecution in those cases and thus they were being transported to Honolulu for federal custody. Two police officers, a driver and a second officer in the van were wounded by drone machinegun fire. One of the female prisoners was also shot and killed and another wounded. They had also found an illegal firearm and ammunition at the barn. Their investigating was continuing.

The Hawaii police when giving their media report related that there were no survivors concerning the terrorists. There was one exception to the terrorists being killed near their place of attack as one man believed to be a drone operator was shot and later died of his wounds at the hospital. A patrol lieutenant who was en-route to the fire departments search helicopter that he was going to be an observer on, shot the subject. Manpower was short so he took on the job. The lieutenant noted the subject hitchhiking and he appeared to be of Middle Eastern decent. He also observed that when the subject saw his police car approaching, acted suspiciously. He was carrying a small brief case and the lieutenant considered that he might be a drone operator. When the Lieutenant stopped his vehicle, the man reached for what the lieutenant perceived to be a gun and shot him five times. The lieutenant’s instinct was right on, as the subject had a pistol in his hip holster. The briefcase he was carrying had the electrical operating components for a drone. The police lieutenant was identified as Walter Gaspar. The suspect? His name was not yet available as he had no documents on him.

    CHAPTER II

The Start of a New Game

Captain Sugie Kiliikipi the commander of the Kona District Station called a meeting of all plain clothes officers that included the Criminal Investigation Section, Juvenile Aid Bureau, Vice Section, Narcotics Section, and the Intelligence Unit. Also in attendance were four special agents from the Joint Terrorism Task Force. It was to be a similar meeting that he would have with all three patrol watches, at a different time.

Gentlemen I called this meeting to update all of you so that we are all on the same page in regards to the terrorist situation on our island. You are not going to read this in the press and it is for police ‘info’ only. It’s not to be shared with your friends outside the department. We might call this an after action report, but the action looks like it is just getting started. The Chief and some chosen others including myself, went to Honolulu day before yesterday, for the Joint Terrorism Task Force meeting. So I am here to brief you and then I will talk specifics on matters concerning our district. Gentlemen, Operation, ‘Hemo Hauna Kukai’, has begun. A cheer went up from those attending.

"Apparently we have really pissed-off the upper echelons of these radical Jihadists. As you’re are well aware of, we have killed more of them on this island and of course more of them have disappeared from this earth, on this island. Don’t ask me how that is happening. Besides, with the rest of the islands we have cost them the loss of many millions of dollars and terrorists dead bodies. It is not to say that they did not cost us millions of dollars with their last combined strike on all of our main islands, causing a horrific body count. So we have some catching up to do.

The radicals think that there are some members of the department that have gone rogue and have set out to kill them, not allowing them to gain a foothold here. I can assure you that there is no such group within the department that I know of and I am sure that I would have heard at least something, at least a hint, about them. There however is a group. I have no clue just who they are, and I do not want to know who they are. Off the record, between you and me, I am actually quite fond of them.

The person who is the Middle Eastern leader is, Cleric Ali Mohamad Allasser and his right hand is, Mohamad Ali Bin Muguassul. We will probably never have the opportunity to meet these evil men, but I am sure that our federal government or the military have some plans for them. It might be some drones flown over their residences or training areas with a few well placed bombs or maybe even some air strikes from our stealth bomber aircraft. I have no idea, but I am hoping, whatever it is, it will take all of these guys out. However, with those that have been sent to our island and are here today, we will be a very large thorn in their side. Rest assured, we are committed to bringing them to justice.Everything that is known and going on that the task force knows about is in these two volumes of Information. They are marked classified and will be in this room for review and will
