UNJUST - Anthony L Robbins
Acknowledgments
This book is dedicated to the known and unknown young men and women of color who have been victimized or discriminated against by the American justice system solely based on the color of their skin.
This book is dedicated to the fine young men and women of law enforcement who actually protect and serve by defending the rights of all people.
I dedicate this book to my mother, Seaner Robbins, an educator; and my father, Larry Robbins, Sr., a former member of the U.S. Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration (Miami Field Office) for being so hard on me growing up. He taught me to evaluate life through unbiased eyes.
I dedicate this book to everyone that played a role in my life.
We must open our eyes and look at the true history of this great country and strive to make it better by accepting the fact that despite our historical trauma we have made excellent strides toward equality – yet – we still have a long way to go. Change starts within.
This book is not meant to promote racial bias, it’s meant to educate America through the lens of an African American showing how the suppression of people of color is promoted and nurtured in America’s legal and judicial systems. Ask yourself, if I place a knee on the side of your face can you honestly tell me what it feels like if you are the one applying the pressure?
This book is dedicated to those who consistently feel the weight of others maliciously applied in multiple areas of their lives – publicly and privately.
