Sackcloth & Ashes - Matthew J. Fratus
There’s a storm coming.
This storm is unlike any the world has seen before. The wrath of this storm will be massive, destructive and catastrophic. However, such a storm is not a mystery. This storm has been forecasted, some 5000 years before its emergence. Some are aware and awake to it, but many are not. Those in the path of this storm, will most likely offer one of 3 responses to it…
Many people today refuse to believe it is coming. They’ve made up their minds with such certainty that now only time, and the storm itself, can convince them otherwise. When they hear of the storm, they laugh. They mock and tease. They offer up tainted theories and broken theology. They question and criticize, without ever truly asking themselves why they hold such hatred toward this forecast. Many in this group may not recognize they’re in the storm until they’re in the eye (mid-point). Until their lord of the flies is replaced by the Lord in the sky, they will refuse. They don’t understand that by then, it will be too late. Woe to them. Woe!
Many others will hold to a degree
of their faith while waiting for it to be proven before increasing their belief and commitment. Yet, it’s impossible to be fully prepared for any storm by waiting to see it in person. By the time you decide to make the necessary changes for the impending storm, it’s too late.
