As the sun began to set, the young squire, Lucas, was finishing up his duties at the castle stables. As he stepped outside, he was surprised to see a knight on horseback approaching him.

Good evening, my boy, the knight said, his voice deep and strong.

Lucas couldn't help but feel a bit intimidated by the knight's imposing figure, but he managed to stammer out a polite greeting.

I'm Sir Thomas, the knight said as he dismounted his horse. I'm traveling through these parts and was hoping to find some lodging for the night. Do you know of any nearby villages?

Lucas quickly gathered his composure and gestured towards a nearby town. There's a tavern just over there, he said, feeling a spark of attraction towards the handsome knight.

Excellent, Sir Thomas said with a smile. Could I trouble you for a drink? I could use some company after a long day's ride.

Lucas eagerly agreed and joined the knight on his horse for the short journey to the tavern.
