It was Friday evening and just for a moment, I allowed myself to imagine what it’d be like to spend a weekend with Max – candlelit dinners, early nights... and late mornings, my secret fantasy.
Such thoughts usually sent me on one of my guilt trips, but today I was saved by the doorbell.
Opening the door I found an attractive young woman of about 20, with blonde hair and a figure to die for.
‘Hello, I’m Lisa,’ she gushed, bright red lipstick highlighting her pouting lips.
‘I’m sorry. Should I know you?’ I asked.
‘N-no, well, I’m not sure. You see, I’m a friend of...’
She stopped as if waiting for me to prompt her.
