Turning The Highlander Straight To Gay - Cove Allandra

Lachlan wiped the sweat from his brow as he trudged up the steep hillside. He’d been searching for the lost treasure for weeks, and he was starting to lose hope. That is, until he met Thomas.

What do you want? Lachlan asked, his voice low and gruff. He eyed the smartly dressed Englishman warily.

I’m here to find the treasure, same as you, Thomas said, holding out his hand. Thomas Blythe.

Without taking his eyes off Thomas, Lachlan shook his hand. Lachlan MacKenzie.

They spent the first few days bickering and disagreeing on everything, but eventually, they learned to work together. And despite Lachlan’s initial dislike of the Englishman, he couldn’t help but be drawn to him.

I think we should split up, Thomas said, as they reached the top of the hill. I’ll go this way. You go that way.

    Lachlan frowned. It’s too dangerous.

We’ve been over this before, Lachlan. We need to cover more ground if we want to find the treasure.

Lachlan scowled. He knew Thomas was right, but he didn’t like the idea of being separated from him. Fine. Just be careful.

Thomas flashed him a charming smile before turning and walking away.

As Lachlan made his way back down the hill, he tried to focus on the task at hand. But his thoughts kept drifting back to Thomas.

He was so lost in thought that he didn’t see the branch in front of him until he tripped and fell. Hard.

Ow, he groaned, rubbing his sore shoulder. That was going to leave a mark.

    Lachlan! Are you alright?

Thomas was running towards him, concern etched on his face.

I’m fine, Lachlan grumbled, brushing himself off.

But Thomas wasn’t convinced. Let me see, he said, gently taking Lachlan’s arm.

Their eyes met, and for a moment, Lachlan forgot all about the treasure.

Thank you, he said, his voice barely above a whisper.

    Thomas smiled softly. Anytime.

They continued on their journey, searching high and low for any sign of the treasure. And despite the dangers they faced and the obstacles they encountered, Lachlan couldn’t help but feel grateful for the opportunity to work alongside Thomas.

Maybe there was more to life than just gold and riches. Maybe, just maybe, he’d found something more valuable than any treasure.

Lachlan looked down at the map, frowning as he traced his finger along the winding path. This can't be right, he muttered, shaking his head.

Thomas leaned over his shoulder, his breath hot against Lachlan's ear. What's wrong?

This map is incomplete, Lachlan said, gesturing to a blank section in the middle. We're missing something.

Well, then let's keep searching, Thomas said with a shrug. We'll find the missing piece eventually.

Lachlan sighed, knowing that Thomas was right. But it wasn't just the map that was
