Jesse paced back and forth in his hideout, his mind racing with thoughts of how to free his men from the jail. He had known it was a risk when they had taken on that last job, but the payoff had been too good to pass up.

One of his men shuffled in, looking defeated. Jesse, they caught us. They got us and we couldn't fight them off.

Jesse bit his lip, wondering how they had gotten caught. Did anyone say anything? Did anyone talk?

The man shook his head. No, boss. We were careful. Someone must have tipped them off.

Jesse cursed under his breath, knowing that they needed to act quickly to save their men. We need to come up with a plan. We can't leave them in that jail. We'll be lucky if they make it out alive.

Another man stepped forward, a glint in his eye. I know of someone who can help us. He's a lawman, but I've heard he's willing to work with outlaws for a price.

Jesse raised an eyebrow, intrigued. And what's his name?

The man hesitated before whispering, Nathaniel. Nathaniel is his name.

Jesse mulled over the idea for a moment before nodding. Alright, we'll reach out to him. But we need to be careful. I don't trust any lawman, even if they're willing to work with us.

The men nodded in agreement before heading out to gather information on Nathaniel. Jesse sat down on a crate, running a hand through his hair. He had always been cautious and strategic in his criminal endeavors, but this time it seemed like all odds were stacked against him. He couldn't afford to lose any more of his men.

As the night wore on, Jesse's nerves began to fray. He knew they needed to act fast, but they couldn't afford to make any mistakes. Just as he was about to lose hope, one of his men burst into the hideout.
