Living in the present moment is one of the fundamental practices for finding inner peace and happiness. It is commonly said that dwelling in the past can lead to depression, and fearing the future can lead to anxiety. In contrast, mindfulness-based practices allow us to stay centered in the present moment, and fully engaged with our environment.
The present moment is where we can experience life most fully, and become more aware of what is happening around us. But how do we embrace the present moment, especially when we often find ourselves caught up in the busyness and distractions of daily life?
