    Introduction

    Every year around graduation time, I have the idea to write down the lessons I wish I would have learned after graduating high school that led to uncommon growth in my life. The growth led me to adventures, successes, and living a good life, way beyond my wildest dreams.

    I knew some of the lessons I mentioned but never grasped their concept or put them into action until later in life.

    I love my life and have few regrets, but I could have avoided much hardship if I had implemented these lessons sooner.

    Today, May 16, 2021, while reading my Bible, I thought about the upcoming graduation party for my best friend, Amy’s, son, Brady.

    Amy is my longest friend. We met in kindergarten, and as they say, the rest is history. We have been best friends ever since.

    I never had children, so the children of friends and family became part of my life in one way or another. I fill the role of an aunt, often without having the bloodline to prove it.

    Brady’s graduation party is two weeks away, and I once again am flooded with these lessons I want to pass along to him or anyone needing a little guidance in life.

    I grabbed my pen and notebook, and the lessons flowed like water spilling over a waterfall. I could not write fast enough. Within an hour, I’d written this
