Dr. Allison has presented in state and national conferences on such diverse topics as diversity, disability access and seniors & disability. As a business consultant and executive coach in private practice since 1994 she has worked with private for profits and public non-profits to enhance the success of those organizations. “I specialize in helping people connect their dreams and values to actions that will further their goals. My research on Trauma and Transcendence grew from my passion to help people live better lives. Trauma and external circumstances may derail us temporarily but they don’t have to stop us cold.“ One area Dr. Allison applies her experience and love of people is in assisting individuals with the stress and sometimes trauma experienced as a result of aging or onset of a disability.
