take me there -

where stars don’t shine,

and the moon is red,

where sin is a shadow

of happiness.

Innocence put in flames

by the game

of pleasure and pain —

halcyon reminiscing,

elicits sighs,

that warm

the cold autumn nights.

what I couldn’t have,

dreamt of things,

so far in between

my heart and my mind —

Where raging madness,

drinks, and dines.
