Chapter 1

Life truly is unexpected and unpredictable, who would have ever imagine being in this kind of situation?  Mitchie was tied up in a chair as she looked down sadly trying to fight back the tears in her eyes thinking,  ‘this is it; I am going to die here.’ An unknown person cocks a gun and points it at her asking,  any last words? Mitchie wonders,  ‘last words? Is that necessary?’  Mitchie raises her eyes looking at the shooter replying,  last words? Yes, I have my last words... GO TO HELL!.  The unknown assassin says,  Goodbye, Mitchie Torres! . Mitchie closes her eyes as she thinks, ‘ I should probably start my story from the beginning and how I ended up in this situation’.  Our story begins in Tennessee where a young girl is playing the xylophone and sings a few lyrics of ‘Heart and Soul’; her mother Kaitlyn says,  very nice sweetheart, you will grow to be a famous musician . Mitchie smiles happily as she grows happily narrating ‘singing has always been my passion, my love and the only thing I can do in my life.’ In a concert in New York City Mitchie remembers her mother’s wise words , ‘if there is one thing you can do it to perfection, focus on what you do best!.’

Mitchie finishes a concert as she holds a frame photo of her mom Kaitlyn who was pregnant with her and her twin brother. Mitchie says, we never knew our father’s identity, rumors said that she had an affair we her fan due to her love for him, but no one can prove this. Mitchie remembers a memory when she found her mom was stabbed and left to bleed; Mitchie without a doubt had a suspect in her mind which was her dad. Mitchie thinks back to the past, ‘I was only three years old when I saw my mom’s body bleeding out’. Kaitlyn’s mom and dad came to visit and took the kids while calling the police and ambulance however the media soon found out about Kaitlyn’s death, and it soon spread like wildfire calling it a ‘murder mystery sensation’. As Mitchie grew up with her brother Darren they always heard on Instagram and TikTok about their mom’s death. Their grandfather Harry says, Mitchie, Darren don’t look into the internet and the news a lot, they are full of lies. Mitchie decided to not look anymore into the news as it just made her and her family feel sad regardless whether it was about them or not. At the age of twelve Mitchie decided to follow in her mother’s footstep and try out for a career in singing while Darren decided to take the performing arts route and become an actor.

Mitchie grew up using music to convey her feelings. Soon on her way over for recording two guys noticed her saying, Mitchie Torres?! W-we are big fans. His friend Mark next to him says, w-wow Mitchie in the flesh. Joanna says, sorry, Mitchie is very busy right now. Alex says, but, can we talk with you more, Mitchie? Please.... Please...please..., a young girl takes out her phone saying, Mitchie, look this way!. Mark asks, can I have your autograph?. Joanna says, please, Mitchie is very busy right now.. please excuse us. Alex begs with his hand folded saying, please Mitchie, I bought all of your albums, atleast just a little talk with me?. Mitchie smiles thinking, ‘aww, my beloved fans without their support I’m just nobody’. Mitchie waves saying, hello, you two thank you for supporting me, it means the world to me, without your support I wouldn’t be what I am right now. Alex says, wow, just like everyone said Mitchie Torres is so lovely and passionate. Mark says, and her voice is so angelic. Mitchie wonders, ‘having my fans around me, interacting with them, nothing could be more perfect and comforting than this moment’. Alex says, Mitchie, I have one question that hangs in my head for so long, do you enjoy rock music?. Mitchie replies, rock is not my genre but I love it!. Alex smiles saying, you are truly a sweet and innocent person who knows nothing but sugar and cakes. One girl comes over with her book asking, Mitchie, can I ask for your autograph?. Suddenly a crowd gathers screaming, MITCHIE TORRES!. Joanna whispers to Mitchie, run!. They both head off as Mitchie thinks, ‘I am so used to this scene since I was young, it’s nothing new to me.’ Later Mitchie has a TV interview as James says, so Miss Mitchie, do you have any plans for the future? A new song perhaps? Mitchie replies, hmm... a new song... of course! I am excited to work on a new album. Mark says, we have HBO here, did you see the news? Everyone wants a collaboration between you two. Jeremey says, I don’t mind, I think it will be an exciting collaboration if it happens. Mitchie thinks smiling, ‘a collab with HBO sounds amazing!’. Daniel says, you see, my director wanted Mitchie to be my co-star in ‘Love Through Time’ but sadly, Mitchie rejected it. James says, but, it was a fantastic romantic movie, why did you reject it, Mitchie?. Mitchie looks at James replying, I only live for music, not acting.... She turns to Daniel apologizing and says, perhaps next time. Daniel was understanding saying, of course, that is totally ok.

Chapter 2

Mitchie wonders, ‘I don’t understand why everyone wants a little piece of me, but it’s fun to have many people around you and wants to be your friend’. Later that evening Mitchie was preparing herself for her concert. Kirsty says, alright, your hair and makeup is done, so? Are you ready for your concert?. Mitchie replies , I am so ready! I cannot wait to see all my fans! Thank you for your amazing hair and makeup as always, Kirsty. Joanna comes saying, it’s time to change your dress, Mitchie, come on we don’t have much time. Mitchie looks at her options before choosing a silver goddess sparkly dress. She looks in the mirror thinking , ‘even though I am a pop idol I can’t lie that country has my go-to music’. Joanna says, Mitchie, you have a gift from your fan. Mitchie is surprised seeing the small bouquet of flowers however just as she is about to take it; Joanna says, you will check this gift later after your concert, ok?. Mitchie says, aww, I love the flowers, but you are right, after my concert. Joanna says, let’s go! It’s time! Soon Mitchie sang her heart out as the crowd danced and moved to the rhythm; two girls in particular were enjoying the show just as a guy came over saying, Miss Alexandra, we have to go now. Alexandra sighs saying, ugh, fine. A few moments later the concert finished as Joanna says, you were amazing, Mitchie! That is one of the best concerts from you!.

Mitchie smiles happily while Joanna checks her tablet for a moment before saying,
