Chapter 1

Kaitlyn was an average girl; her entire life was perfect; she was popular and had lots of friends. On the other side of town lived Matthew. He had a life full of Mafia tasks and his life was far from normal; his father Harry was a mafia leader of the Bronze Dragons, so he had to join. At 18 years near the end of school, Harry died and since then Matthew was the next heir to lead the Mafia.

A year passes as Matthew lead his father's mafia in the same legacy as his dad however one thing was missing was love. Every day was the same for him; Matthew became bored of life and needed some time to think; he would take a walk alone and to think about if he had a  normal life would  look like. One day during his walk he passed the bus stop when he saw Kaitlyn, he couldn't help but feel butterflies in his stomach. Kaitlyn's golden long hair, blue eyes, and natural beauty left Matthew thinking, 'I need to talk to this girl.' As Kaitlyn looked at her watch and checked to see if her bus was coming a voice surprised her as Matthew says flirting, "hey beautiful". Kaitlyn was not impressed as she rolled her eyes, as soon as the bus came Kaitlyn hope and, leaving Matthew there as it started to rain.

The next day Kaitlyn was having breakfast with her sister Samantha. Samantha was thirteen years old in middle school while Kaitlyn had just turned 17. Kaitlyn and Samantha are closer than sisters and are like best friends. They even have nicknames for each other. Samantha is called 'Sammy' as Kaitlyn is called 'Kit-kat'. As they ate their cereals; Kaitlyn asked, Sammy how's school going?. Samantha replied with a smile and said, it's going great. Samantha and Kaitlyn's mom Andrea says, girls what have you both got planned for the day?. Samantha says, mom I have to work on an assignment at the library. Kaitlyn says, I am off today so maybe I will go for a walk. Mom where's dad?. Andrea says, he didn't come home last night. I think he was working late. Samantha and Kaitlyn rarely saw their dad as he was most of the time out of the house. After breakfast, Samantha went to the library to work on a school assignment and Kaitlyn went for a walk to clear her thoughts deciding to spend the day with her friends. Suddenly, she saw a girl in the alley with a random guy; Kaitlyn sensed that something was wrong. Whilst Kaitlyn wondered what she could do; she took out her mobile and dialed 999 as she was looking at them from behind; another guy was walking up to her and before she knew it, he hit her on the head with a baseball bat. Kaitlyn dropped her mobile and fell as they carried her into a black van and drove off.

A few moments later at the base, Matthew and the guy who had knocked Kaitlyn were talking. Why would you do that? Matthew shouted. Colin responded, she was watching what we were doing Boss. Matthew took a deep breath knowing Colin was right. Colin was Matthew's right hand and if anything happened to him Colin would be the next person to take over the Mafia. It's still bad Matthew said while Colin rolls his eyes. What are we going to do with her? Colin asked. Matthew thought about it and then says, we will train her to be a gangster. Back in the cell, Colin had put Kaitlyn down as she finally woke up. As she rubs her head she started to panic and tries to break down the door. A guard came and said, don't try to escape the Boss will come to see you soon. Kaitlyn began to worry about Sammy and was filled with anger being locked up.

Hours went by with Kaitlyn plotting and thinking of how to escape when finally, Colin came back to get her. Come with me, Colin says as Kaitlyn pushed Colin and started to run but Colin took a hidden shortcut and caught her. Colin tied her arms behind her back and lead her to the Boss's office. Matthew had his back to her. You can wait outside Colin. He spoke. Colin nodded and walked out of the door. Matthew says, so you're the one who saw something you shouldn't have. Kaitlyn was frightened and scared as she had tears in her eyes, please let me go. Matthew laughs coldly and responds, you've seen too much I'm sorry, but you're stuck here.

Kaitlyn cries while Matthew turns and is shocked to see it is the same girl from the bus stop. He doesn't know why but he can't bear to see her in tears. He hands her tissue as Kaitlyn says, you were the one from a few days ago?. Matthew says, don't cry you will learn to love it here. He snaps his fingers as Colin came running in. Take her back to her cell and come back here after. Matthew said as Colin nodded and took Kaitlyn away. In Matthew's office he and Colin were thinking to train Kaitlyn. Tomorrow I want you to train her to sell drugs. Matthew said as Colin gasps with surprise and was a little shocked as he asks, are you sure Boss?. Matthew nodded. As Colin left leaving Matthew to his thoughts. Meanwhile back in Kaitlyn’s cell, Kaitlyn thinks, ‘no matter what happens tomorrow I am getting out of her one way or another’.

Chapter 2

The next day same as Colin came to Kaitlyn's cell and opened the door. Kaitlyn asks, where are you taking me?. Colin says, follow me and don't try anything. Kaitlyn walked down the corridor as she looked around. She spotted a door opening while Colin stopped to talk with two men Kaitlyn thinks, 'now is my chance' . Kaitlyn kicked Colin just as the two men were about to attack her however Kaitlyn jumped in the air sending a flying punch and kick. 

Kaitlyn saw a gun in the pocket, she took it and ran towards the door as she got out before the door closed. She found a wooden stick and pressed it against the door. Kaitlyn ran using all her strength coming into the entrance of the base; Kaitlyn looked around and saw a car driving by and ran in the same direction. Meanwhile Matthew had been checking CCTV as Colin came into his office and says, Boss she ran away. Matthew says, well find her NOW!. Kaitlyn recognizes her town as she looks around to see if she is being followed before coming to her house. 

As she knocks on the door Andrea opens to see Kaitlyn who comes in and locks the door. Andrea is about to hug her as Kaitlyn says, wait a sec mom. Kaitlyn draws the curtains as she unplugs the phone. Kaitlyn is covered in dirt and stinks of sweat as Andrea hugs her; Andrea say, do you know how worried I was when you didn't come home yesterday?. Kaitlyn says, I'm sorry mom!. Andrea says, you need to shower, and your sister is waiting for you upstairs. As Kaitlyn goes upstairs, she sees Samantha in her room as Kaitlyn says Sammy. Samantha gets up and hugs Kaitlyn and says, I missed you kit-kat where were you?. Kaitlyn didn't answer as Kaitlyn says, I will go for a shower, and we can then talk. After she had finished, she came down as Andrea had cooked pasta and she ate it feeling hungry. Samantha asks, Kaitlyn where were you yesterday?. Kaitlyn remembered being taken and held captive as she replies, don't worry Sammy. I am home now. Samantha says, now that you are home, I can go out to meet my friends. Kaitlyn says, "No
