    Chapter 1

    Mool Mantra of Sikhism

The Mool Mantra is a key mantra in Sikhism and is considered to be the foundation of Sikh philosophy. It is the opening passage of the Guru Granth Sahib, the central scripture of Sikhism, and is recited by Sikhs in their daily prayers. The Mool Mantra is as follows:

Ek Onkar Satnam Karta Purakh Nirbhau Nirvair Akal Murat Ajuni Saibhang Gur Prasad.

The English translation of the Mool Mantra is:

There is one God. Truth is His name. He is the Creator. He is without fear. He is without hate. He is timeless and self-existent. He is realized through the Guru's grace.

The Mool Mantra emphasizes the oneness of God, the importance of living a truthful life, and the role of the Guru in helping individuals attain spiritual realization. The mantra is often recited by Sikhs as a way of connecting with the divine and attaining a sense of inner peace and harmony.

    Chapter 2

    Introduction

Sikhism is a monotheistic religion founded in the 15th century in the Punjab region of India by Guru Nanak Dev Ji. It is based on the belief in one God, who is formless, eternal, and all-powerful. Sikhism is a distinct and progressive religion that values equality, justice, and selfless service.

One of the fundamental beliefs of Sikhism is the concept of Waheguru, which means Wonderful Teacher or Wonderful Lord. Sikhs believe in the oneness of God, and that all people are equal in the eyes of God, regardless of their race, gender, caste, or religion. The religion also emphasizes the importance of selfless service, or seva, as a means of connecting with God and serving the community.

Sikhism has ten Gurus, or spiritual leaders, who played an important role in shaping the religion. The first Guru was Guru Nanak Dev
