Preface
Going to a Bible study at work was a turning point in my life. What a turning point it was. God has a plan in our lives. My whole life I didn't know God was even there. I learned about God and how much He loved us that He gave His one and only Son for us to live. I learned that God was there when I did not know Him. I realized God was with me in bad and good times in my life. Life is hard but know God is with you.
I realized that in the midst of a storm, God is with us. We can be mad and not understand why things happen to us but know that God loves us. Trials and tribulations make us stronger, even though at times, we don't think so.
We read His Word so that we can learn from it and keep learning from it. We go to a church to praise and worship with other people who love God. We learn to love His other children. We learn to know God is with us.
Introduction
Iwas sitting on the airplane next to a woman my age who kept calling the man in the seat in front of her Father . My husband and I went on a three-day trip with a group of people. We sat on the same seats both ways on the plane. On the ride back, my husband and I bought two sandwiches because they didn't serve food on the plane. We split one sandwich and offered the nice lady sitting next to me and her father the other sandwich.
She said, No, that's not my father. He is a priest.
She was his caregiver.
My husband and I said we were so sorry for the mistake, and we laughed at the mistake, but she was very nice and laughed too.
She told me he was a retired priest close to the town where we lived. He had written a book about his life as an Irish priest in Texas. He was writing a new book on prayer. She asked if I had a prayer that I would want to share with the priest. He may or may not use it in his new book. I found out he didn't publish the new book.
The Lord had told me to write a book. I never have had an inkling to write a book in
