The Gift of Life

To all four of my girls

Father God, I thank you for the gift of life. You blessed me with four beautiful daughters.

Rosa, who calls me Everlo.

Marie, who calls me Evelina.

Lynn, who calls me Mother.

Caridad, who calls me Ma.

Who knows what else they have called me? (Smile).

As you read this book, and meditate on it, let the Spirit of the Lord touch your heart and understand how I also suffered and have tried to be the best parent that God has allowed me to be. Despite my flaws.

When I go home to be with the Lord, always remember, there wasn’t one day that I did not pray for you. And, I love you dearly. Seek Jesus.

And to all my beautiful ten grandchildren whom God has allowed me to see.

The Word of God is alive. Just a few of my favorite Bible verses. The Lord is close to the broken hearted; He rescues those whose spirit is crushed. Psalm 34:18

Yet, what I suffer now is nothing compared to the glory He will reveal to us later. Romans 8:18.

Jesus calls us to love one another. May the Father of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob continue to bless you, your loved ones and families. May all your petitions unto the Lord may be answered according to His will. Amen.

May God continue to guide you in every step of His path and lead you to obtain the Narrow door, so that you may obtain the Crown of Victory and endured till the end. Amen.

I pray that all who are able to read this book, you will be truly blessed. This book is about how lost I was and since I gave my life to Christ, my life has not been the same. I am still under construction. With a better understanding of how much God loves me. What Jesus did on the Cross for me.

This is my story.

Introduction

I felt compel to write this book and share my pain, hurt, rejection, tears and abandonment I faced growing up. Writing this book wasn’t easy, re-living the past was not my cup of tea. People need to read stories like this so they can see how others suffered. As a sinner and born again believer, no matter how it should say it doesn’t matter how dark may seem. Omit oldest just daughter. From torn to ripped. It’s Jeremiah. God does work Miracles. God is real. As I prayed for this book, I got the go ahead from God. You know, God does speak. You just have to learn to listen to His voice.

A God whose promises are true. His Word does not return back void. No matter how dark it seems. Let me tell you, I been through darkness. My oldest daughter, inspired me to write my story after I read her first book. As I read that book, I was torn to millions of pieces. I wanted to die right there. I also was inspired to continue finishing my book, after I read the true story of one of my favorite singers. Who, I know personally.

My life was like a War Zone. I was blindly serving idols who could not speak, walk, hear or see. Cosas de loco. Meaning, crazy things. I could have been in the pits of Hell. God in His Sovereignty had and has a purpose for me. Jeremiah 29:11.

Coming from a Dysfunctional Family, you must wonder how I was able to survive. By the Grace of God. That’s the answer. Grace and Mercy. I was a tough kid also.

Emotionally, Mentally, and Physically, I was a hot mess. I knew there was a Mighty, Awesome, and Powerful God. The trouble was that I didn’t know where to look for Him. I was looking in all the wrong places. Just to find out, He was there all the time with me; just waiting for me to open the door. A loving God who kept me safe at all times throughout my years on earth. Still does.

In November, 2007, I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. At the time I was living in Orlando, Florida. I was invited by a good sister in Christ. What a beautiful church. Of course! the church was located in Orlando. The Pastor preached on his testimony. Powerful! He was originally from New York. When the alter called came, my entire body started to shake. Tears were streaming down my cheeks. I couldn’t understand what was happening to me. I walked towards the alter and the Pastor ministered the plan of Salvation. What a great feeling. Praise the Lord.

Let me tell you, the Devil is real. One evening, while I was fasting and reading the Bible, I had closed my eyes for a brief moment. The attack was real. I felt his heavy hand smothering my head unto the pillow. Yes! Was I scared? I started to pray and plea the Blood of Jesus. It all happened so fast. However, it felt like an eternity. He was still messing with me, but I hit him hard with the Word of the Lord. This is why it’s so important to be in the Word and be prepared with the Full Armor of God. Amen! Must be ready for battle at all times, And I mean wear the entire suit not just half.

Ephesians 6:10-18 (Read it).

1. Buckle the belt of truth around your waist.

2. Cover your heart
