About this ebook
Mr. Adams decided to cover this topic in this book because of the state of the world today. Adams says, "We have seen so much tragedy the last couple of years and I don’t want anyone to blame God for it!" In addition, "There is so much Chaos in the Christian church today; I pray that God restores us in all sincerity so that His purpose and will can be done in the world.
Louis Adams
Louis Adams is a Christian author, father and devoted husband. This former R & B artist of the late 80’s accepted his call into the ministry in 1991. Doctors told Henry Adams Senior & Alma Adams that their child’s life would not be long and if he did make it out of the hospital, that he would not make it past 7 years old. Alma Adams believed God in that situation and her son is still here today. At age 7, Adams faced another trial; he was a victim of child molestation at a community fair. This trial had a very big impact on his life but still like the childhood health problems, the blood of Jesus Christ too has overcome this. God has given him an awesome testimony! Accepting his call to minister in 1991, Louis Adams is the author of Diary of a Shattered Spirit & Forgetting Those Things.

Forgetting Those Things
LOOKING BACK OVER MY LIFE I can surely testify that it has not been an easy journey. My life has been filled with many trials that have surely made me a stronger and more focused man of faith today. Even though I feel the anointing of God and I hear the spirit of the Lord moving and leading me, I cannot help but to think that maybe I could of done things differently. Maybe I could have done something that could have changed the course of my fate and possibly have spared me from a lot of the heartache and pain that I’ve endured thus far. I guess we all adopt this way of thinking as we grow and mature in life and in our walks with God.
My trial and error experiences yielded some of the most powerful attributes of the spirit in my life. Through my experiences I’ve learned how to be faithful in prayer, patient in God’s promises and persistent in striving to get closer to God. In my struggle to be transformed from a mere carnal being to a renewed and refreshed spirit, I fought some of the most powerful demonic spirits existing on the earth today. From my place of worship, to my home and also from my place of employment, I was tried on every side by everything imaginable. While Satan constantly attempted to break my spirit, God continued to carry me through some of the most vigorous spiritual workouts ever imagined. These spiritual workouts were to prepare me for the battle that lied ahead. A battle between good and evil. A battle between choosing life or death, holding on or letting go.
In this journey of life, we will quickly find out that God uses situations, circumstances and trials to make us stronger. He uses these situations to destroy the characteristics of the sinful carnal nature and fill us with a righteous thankful spirit toward life. So when we get that revelation, we are able to trust and rely totally on God in every area of our life.
It is truly amazing when I look back over my life. God has been really good to me. Who would have thought that I would have been chosen to share such a priceless message of truth and freedom. I am sure that many were shocked when I at the age of 20 announced that I was a minister of the gospel. Through this book, id like to take you on an incredible journey. A Journey that will help you see, understand and accept Gods design for your life.
It took many years for me to understand Gods plan for my life. I had to learn that not all things I thought was bad came from the devil. Some things came from God to encourage me to change and mature in the Spirit of God. As Christians, we must learn to see Christ in every situation of our lives.
Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

I Don’t Even Know Why
AS I LAY ON MY sick bed stricken with hepatitis B, I begin to read the bible. I would read scripture daily and pray. At that time, I didn’t know God. Nevertheless, as I continued to read the bible, there was one story in the bible that caught my attention. It played over and over in my mind. Day in and day out, I would visualize the woman with the issue of blood. I could relate to her because I was going through an issue of
