Perspective
So much of what I write is about pain, heartbreak and disillusionment. There are so many books that inspire us to feel good, pull ourselves up and out of our despair, and that’s a good thing. But I also believe that we have to experience all the emotions we have, not bury them or hide from them. Shed those tears that want to be shed and feel the anger that builds up inside before it becomes a danger to us and to others. I think too much emphasis is put on feeling good all the time when it is only human to be sad when our heart is broken and angry when we are pushed to anger. Highs and lows, peaks and valleys, this is life. I have spent so much of my life feeling guilty that I wasn’t tap dancing through it, that I finally decided to just feel what I feel when I feel it. I know there are millions of you out there who know exactly what I mean and so I
