About this ebook
Violet Eicher
Violet Eicher is a child at heart. She loves to do things that take her back to her childhood including things like coloring, singing (especially Disney), painting while getting very messy, journaling, and writing poetry. Violet had a creative writing class when she was a young child and that opened the door to much more creativity. She found her poetry to be a very great coping mechanism and a fun outlet. Her hope’s that her poetry will help people all around the world not only connect, but also see that they are not alone. When Violet struggles, she goes to her pen and paper and let’s loose with her similes and metaphors not only explaining her thoughts and feelings but transferring them from inside, through the ink in the pen, to the paper. Hoping that one day she will inspire and help those who read them as they do her.

What If?
39814.pngWhat if I told you I wanted to die?
To hang myself, then REALLY fly.
What if I said I couldn’t take this anymore?
I’ll take some pills and fall to the floor.
What if I said it gets worse at night?
My demons wake up; I’m unable to fight.
What if I lied and said I’m alright?
There’s nothing wrong, then bid you goodnight.
What if I left with no goodbye?
Get what I wanted and finally die.
What if I took my life with a knife?
Cut vertically for once, watch the blood spread like lice.
What if I left and nobody cared?
No one would notice I guess that’d be fair.
True Love
39814.pngIf it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t know what true love really meant.
I wouldn’t feel the peace inside; I wouldn’t feel content.
My throbbing heart filled with love needing dusted, cleaned, and polished.
For all the love I’ve developed for you leaves me here, astonished.
If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t feel this tenderness romance.
This truly crazy circumstance has nothing that it lacks.
My once broken heart had been waxed; all the cracks had been filled in.
If this is true and I do have you, I’ve developed a permanent grin.
Everyone near and far has
