You say it’s the devil whenever you sin but God says it’s you when you sin. This world particularly in our generation, has witnessed countless number of instances where the offender or accused person shifted the cause of their sinful act to the devil when they are caught or arrested in the very act of rape, fornication, masturbation, incest, pornography, adultery and other non sexual related sin such as stealing, killing and many more.

From the beginning, when first man, Adam sinned, he apportioned the blame of his actions on the woman, Eve, his wife when he was questioned by God likewise Eve, who also shifted her actions on the serpent. They never accepted their fought before God. Ever since, man has been similarly behaving like Adam and Eve did. 11 And he said, ‘Who told you that you were naked? Have you eating from the tree from which I commanded you not to eat?’ 12 The man said, ‘The woman you put here with me _ she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it.’ 13 Then the Lord said to the woman, ‘What is this you have done?’ The woman said, ‘The snake deceived me, and I ate. (Genesis 3:11-13).
