    RIZAL PROVINCE IS A province located in the Calabarzon region of the Philippines. It is situated just east of Metro Manila, and is bordered by Laguna to the south, Quezon to the east, and Bulacan to the north. The province was named after José Rizal, one of the national heroes of the Philippines. It has a total land area of 1,192 square kilometers and a population of 2.8 million people as of 2015.

    The capital city of Rizal Province is Antipolo City which serves as its political center and commercial hub. Other major cities include Angono, Binangonan, Cainta, Cardona, Jalajala, Morong and Tanay. The province also includes several islands such as Dampalitan Island in Laguna de Bay and Talim Island in Lake Taal.

    Rizal Province has a rich history that dates back to pre-colonial times when it was part of an ancient kingdom called Tondo ruled by Rajah Sulayman who reigned from 1571-1575 AD during Spanish colonization period in 1571 until 1898 when it became part of American occupation period until 1946 when it became part Philippine Commonwealth government until present day Republic status since 1946 up to present day status today with its own provincial government headed by Governor Rebecca Añonuevo with Vice Governor Nini Ynares both elected officials for 2019-2022 term respectively .

    The economy in Rizal Province is mainly driven by agriculture which accounts for about 40% percentof its GDP followed by manufacturing at 25%, services at 20%, trade at 10%and mining at 5%. Major agricultural products include rice (the main crop), corn (second most important crop), vegetables (third most important crop)and fruits like mangoes , bananas , papaya , pineapple , guava etc . Manufacturing sector includes food processing plants such as meat processing plants , canned goods factories etc . Services sector includes tourism industry due to presence many tourist attractions like Hinulugang Taktak National Park , Daranak Falls etc . Trade sector consists mostly small scale retail stores while mining sector consists mostly quarrying operations for construction materials like sand & gravels used for building roads & bridges .

    Aside from agriculture & manufacturing sectors other industries are also growing rapidly such as IT/BPO industry due presence many IT parks located around Antipolo City & nearby cities like Taytay & Cainta where many BPO companies have set up their offices providing employment opportunities thousands local residents . There are also some industrial parks located around Morong municipality where some light industries have set up their factories providing employment opportunities thousands local residents too .

    In terms infrastructure development there are several ongoing projects being implemented throughout province including construction new highways connecting different municipalities together making travel easier faster between them while improving overall transportation system within region too .
