    Three Wishes Granted!

    This is THE book that I wish I had as a young adult growing up, and as an older adult navigating the complex world. It is the book that I wish I could have studied in grade school, college, and later in life. This book has amazing stories that will amuse, educate, and inspire the young and the old. This book contains information that is sought by everyone of every age, and it gives all who read it all of the secret information needed to acquire the most desired things in life.

    Education in schools and universities currently skip many of the important things we need to know in order to get the most out of life. So we are forced to stumble through life in the dark without knowing many of the most important things we need to know. I was taught how to score and play a football game, but not how to have a healthy and athletic body. I was taught about how to multiply numbers and how to work for an employee paycheck, but I was not taught how to multiply my money, or how to become very wealthy. I was taught about different people’s culture and the meaning of words in different languages, but I was not taught how to have meaningful relationships with different people, or how to live a life full of joy and meaning.

    This book is created to provide the most important knowledge which most of us were never taught, how to actually get the things that we want in life, and how to get the most joy in our life. It is based on a lifetime of accumulated knowledge which was gained through decades of continuous research, observation, and contemplation. The writings here are meticulously designed, like a great sword, to cut through the obstacles the reader faces, so the reader can create the life they seek. This book goes beyond simply changing one’s life, anyone who reads it needs to be prepared for a dramatic transformation in the quality of their life!

    When I was a young kid, I remember hearing the fairytale story of Aladdin, a man who found a lamp with a magical genie who granted three wishes. I always wondered what three wishes others would make and what three wishes I would make, if I found such a lamp. Of course, I never found a lamp like that, but the story got me thinking about magic and about what is possible.

    As a young boy I was intrigued by the wonder of magic, I studied the magic tricks and the ways of some of the greatest magicians, and I would enjoy blowing the mind of my friends and classmates with my magic tricks. But magic tricks gradually lost appeal to me because I began to want more. No matter how good I and others were at performing magic tricks, at the end of the day they were still just tricks, and not real.

    As an young adult I became more interested in what is real and in how to change reality. I studied things like science, math, human behavior, and the nature of the universe. I studied human habits and beliefs. I also searched for a book that had the answers on how to get the most desired things in life, but I never found it. Since I could not find it, I set out to find all of the answers for myself. Decades of life experience and research later, I realized I had finally gathered all of the information I had been looking for earlier, so I began to write the book I had always wished to find. This is that book!

    This book is focused on reality, truth, and the real secrets to creating change. This book is about REAL MAGIC. Real magic is not about deception or tricks that appear magical, it is about actually changing reality. The real magic written about here gives the reader the power to make real changes in their life, and to their environment. This book does not stop at vague references on how to make changes in life, instead there are specific details and examples on how to do the things we want in life, and on how to get the things we want.

    This book also reveals the answer to a question I personally had when I was younger. The question is: What is the greatest hope and the greatest threat to an individual, and to mankind?

    When I was younger, this is the book that I always wished I had to answer so many questions I had. This book is the result of that wish, and it also fulfills another wish. It fulfills my wish to unleash a real genie into the world, one that has the power to grant real wishes. The surprise is that this real genie is you! Finding this book is like finding a magical lamp, and reading this book is like rubbing that magical lamp. It will release the awesome power of your inner genie, and the three wishes you will grant yourself are: Health, Wealth, and Happiness!

    Many people may feel their current reality is impossible to change. They may feel like they will never be happy, or may never be rich, or may never have a healthy fit body. But today is the beginning of a new reality, a reality that contains the raging fire of change, and this fire will burn away all of the obstacles to change.

    Let’s begin by understanding the foundation on which change is built, and then let’s go into the details involved with making change. Many people know some of the things needed to make a change, but most were never shown the complete picture of how to change one’s life. We will start with the strategies for change that are simple and well known, and then move forward to the more complex little known secrets behind creating dramatic change.

    The fire of change starts with a simple spark, that spark is believing in what is possible. Belief is at the base of the foundation of change. If we believe change is possible, then it becomes possible. When we believe something is possible, then we become open to learning ways to make it so.

    Once one believes change is possible what is next? What seems to be an impossible wish, or goal, often becomes possible when we can break it down into smaller goals. Some of our biggest and most complicated goals can be tackled when we break them down into smaller goals that can be reached with a step by step process.

    What steps do we still need to take to make our wish a reality? First we start by making the wish and stating what we want, we may even write it down. Next we need the knowledge of how to make specific things happen to grant our wish (this is the focus of this book). Then we need to look at the opportunity around us so we can create a plan that will work, and we must be willing to revise our plan as our circumstances and/or our knowledge changes. And finally we need to take persistent actions according to our plan until we make our wish a reality. Using this process, along with the knowledge contained here, makes it possible for us to grant our wishes for increased health, wealth, and happiness.

    There is a specific four step process we can use to turn our wishes into goals that can be reached. Reaching our goals and granting our wishes starts to become possible when we take the following steps:

    1.Set a goal - we have to define what we want (make our wish). Many people wonder aimlessly through their entire life not doing the things they want to do, not because of lack of ability or any lack of opportunity, but only because of lack of setting a goal. If we have no direction, or target in our life, then we are trapping ourselves to roam aimlessly through our life accomplishing nothing. Do not delay defining what you want in life, otherwise procrastination will imprison your potential and it will destroy your future.

    2.Acquire knowledge about how to accomplish each specific goal - we need to know what actions we need to take and what resources we need to have to make it possible to achieve our goal. For example, if our goal is related to - health, wealth, and happiness - then we would first gather information by simply reading something with information about our goals, like this book.

    3.Create a plan - we need to plan each action needed to reach our goal based on the knowledge we have regarding the goal. In a plan we are simply breaking down what we we need to do to reach a goal into the steps that we need to take along the path to our goal, and we also define the estimated time necessary to make each step needed to reach our goal. The most effective plans are based on the knowledge we obtain about ways to achieve our goal, and they are based on a realistic time frame. An effective plan will actually define the number of steps we need to take to reach our goal, and it will define the time we expect each step to take, for each and every step needed to reach all the way to the final goal.

    4.Take Persistent Action - we must take regular or daily action to make each step towards our goal, until our goal is achieved. Success can never escape from those who never quit. We must be continually motivating ourself so that we never stop, until our goal is reached. History tells many stories that illustrate the power of persistence. For one example let’s look at Thomas Edison. He created the first commercialized electric light bulb, a creation that was one of the most successful patients ever. His invention was an improvement to the light bulb filament, as the light bulb had already been invented. Edison had to persistently try over and over to discover the right light bulb filament to make the light last long enough to be practical for widespread use. If he had quit after 1 try, he would have failed. If he had quit after his first 10 tries, he would have failed. If he had quit after 100 tries, he would have failed. If he had finally quit after 1000 tries, he would have failed. But he never quit, so success could not escape him. Instead of quitting after a failure, he chose to learn from each failure. And finally after thousands of attempts, he succeeded at creating a more efficient light bulb, which is an invention that literally lit up the world. So if we never quit, we can also succeed at doing things that may have once seemed impossible. And one day, in our own unique way, we too may light up the world.

    Although one may be tempted to just read the part of this book about what they most seek, such as wealth if they want to be rich, or the part of the book about health if they seek to improve their health and fitness, or the part of the book that focuses on happiness if they seek to a more joyful life; I would encourage everyone at some point to read the entire book to get the most out of their life because health, wealth, and happiness each increase our ability to have more of the others.

To my miraculous wife Reyna Black who has always loved, supported, and believed in me, no matter what strange or unusual idea I pursued. To my loving mother Christine Black who taught me about compassion for others and who was the personification of love. To my wise father Sir Dr. Lee Roy Black who taught me his great wisdom about human nature and about how the world really works, and who showed courage in the face of all of life’s challenges. To my affectionate sister Angela Harris who was the heart of the family, she showed me the importance of staying connected with family. To my creative sister Lori Black who taught me the importance of both having and pursuing dreams, in spite of life’s setbacks. To my realistic sister Colette Black who taught me the importance of responsibility, persistence, and practicality in life. To my optimistic Auntie Roxy Elliot who personified hope, and who helped me to never lose hope in the future, or in mankind. To my benevolent grandmother Edna Black who taught me the importance and the nobility of helping others. And to my ingenious grandfather Robert Black who could figure out how to do just about anything even without any education or the internet, and who even figured out how to save my life when I was a young child choking on a piece of candy.

    CHAPTER ONE

    Health

    Health is the foundation of our life. Health is essential to getting the most out of our life, and our health also enables us to increase both our wealth and happiness. As a kid in school, I learned general information about the four basic food groups and about how to play and score different types of sports; but I never learned how to eat healthy, or how to get regular exercise, or how to get enough sleep to be healthy. I never learned about the importance of mental and spiritual health either. This section of the book contains the important missing information I spent decades searching for, the information on how to be healthy.

    There are three different areas of health discussed here - our physical health, our mental health, and our spiritual health. All three influence each other and make up our overall health.

    As in any health plan it is recommended to consult your doctor or medical professional before beginning anything. The life changing information mentioned here is based on general knowledge available to everyone; but it may need to be tailored to your specific body, lifestyle, and situation.

    Physical Health

    In life there are many unexpected and uncontrollable events, but in general our physical health is something that we can control. Health lies in the details, as we will see it is important to look at all the little things we do each day, because they all add up to make a big difference in our overall health. Our physical health is directly related to some specific things that we can control: what we eat and drink, the exercise we get, and the sleep we get each day.

    What We Eat and Drink

    Food makes up the building blocks of our body and supplies our energy. Living a life with unhealthy food and drinks is like driving a boat with holes in the bottom of it. A boat with holes leaking water may seem normal at first, but as time goes on it gets heavier, the engine floods, it eventually stops altogether, and it finally sinks. If we put destructive foods into our body then just like the boat we will slow down, break down, and stop altogether. But we can sail through our life with good health when we seal up the holes in our diet. We will improve our physical health by improving our eating and drinking habits, and when we have a plan based on the right knowledge, it actually becomes easy to do.

    How does one eat healthy food at home? The battle to eat healthy at home is actually won or lost outside of the home, the battle is won by the foods we bring into our home to begin with. If our home is filled with unhealthy foods, then we are setting ourself up for failure. Most people know the difference between healthy and unhealthy foods, the problem is they buy the wrong types of foods in the first place. Once the unhealthy foods are embedded in our home then the battle to eat healthy becomes a difficult uphill battle.

    The key to eating healthy is to shop for healthy foods only, even our snacks and desserts can be healthy (made with natural ingredients and having little or no additives and preservatives) while still delicious. When we shop for healthy foods that we also enjoy, then we are making it easy for us to
