About this ebook

How do you define self-love?
There's been a lot of talk lately about self-love. It sounds good, but what does it really mean? What is the best way to love ourselves? And why does it really matter?

Self-love is the ability to fully accept and love yourself, as well as respect yourself and promote health and growth.

Self-love is not only about what you do to yourself, but also about your thoughts and opinions about yourself. When you think about self-love, you are able to imagine what you would do for yourself. You are also able to imagine what you would say to yourself and what you think about yourself in a way that shows the love and care you have for yourself.

When you feel good about yourself, you are able to have an overall positive view of yourself. This does not mean that you are constantly confident in yourself. It is not realistic. For example, I can sometimes feel angry, frustrated or dissatisfied with myself and still love myself. If this seems hard for you to understand, think about how this happens with other people. I am able to be a parent to my child, even if I feel dissatisfied or angry with him. Despite my anger and dislike, my love for him is the basis of my relationship with him. It helps me accept his feelings, respond to his needs, and make decisions that benefit him. Self-love is similar. Therefore, if you have the capacity to love other people, you are also capable of loving yourself!

What is self-love?
Here are some examples of how self-love can manifest when it is in full bloom.

Being positive and assertive
You can forgive yourself when you mess up
Meeting your personal needs
Being assertive
Not allowing others to take advantage of you or abuse you
It is essencial to prioritize your health and well-being.
Spend time with people who support and encourage you (and avoid those who do not).
Ask for help
Let go of grudges or anger that are holding you back.
Recognizing your strengths
Valuing your feelings
Make healthy choices most of the time
Live according to your beliefs
Pursue your goals and interests
Challenge yourself
Being responsible for yourself
Doing yourself a favor and eating healthy foods
Accept your mistakes
Set realistic expectations
Track your progress and effort
What is the reason we are required to be able to love ourselves?
If you haven't had any self-love role models, or someone who has taught you how essencial it is to be kind to yourself, you may be skeptical of its worth.

Without self-love you are likely to be self-critical and fall into perfectionistic and people-pleasing tendencies. You are more likely to accept inhumane treatment or abuse from others. You may neglect your personal wants and needs because you feel you are not worth it. You self-destruct or make decisions that are not in your best interests.

Self-love is the foundation that allows us to be assertive in setting boundaries, establishing boundaries, and building healthy relationships with others. take care of ourselves, pursue our goals and interests, and be confident in who we are.

How to Heal your Body with Self Love

    Introduction

The fact that you are attracted to this book suggests that you are eager to learn more about the fundamentals of Reiki and all of its potential benefits. Reiki has become increasingly well known in recent times and many who were once skeptical now believe that it can heal. You should know that Reiki has been incorporated in several hospitals. Reiki practitioners collaborate with surgeons and physicians to improve the treatment experience for patients.

The next few chapters will explore the roots of Reiki in Japan and how it has evolved and developed in the West over the years. We will explore the principles and beliefs underlying the system of Reiki, and how Reiki treatments work in practice. You will learn the steps to attune to Reiki, as well as the work of a Reiki practitioner, and the different levels that can be achieved in the profession. You will learn about your chakras and how best to keep them in balance. You will learn about the many research studies done on the effects of Reiki and become aware of the many documented advantages and potential benefits it offers. At the end of this book we will examine the effects of Reiki on non-human beings such as animals, plants and even food.

There are many books that deal with this subject and I thank you for choosing this one. I hope it gives you a good understanding of Reiki and motivates you to incorporate some form of meditation into your daily life.

    Chapter 1 What is Reiki?

Reiki is a term that comes from two Japanese words: Rei and Ki. A literal translation of the two words into English does not accurately convey the implied meaning of the words. Finding an accurate translation is a challenge because Japanese is a complex language. The Japanese language is extremely complex and has many different levels of meaning and sense in its language. Context is important in the Japanese language and the context in which words are used is essential. Non-Japanese speakers should keep this in mind whenever they are trying to communicate successfully. Context is essential in the language that comprises Reiki and, in this case, it is used to heal the soul in a spiritual context. Even if you flip through a Japanese dictionary, you may not discover the level of understanding you would like to find. The dictionary is based on everyday Japanese usage, but the level of understanding we are looking for goes far beyond what it is based on. For example, the word Rei can be translated as ghost, just as the term Ki can be identified as the word steam. This may provide some understanding of the meaning of the word, however it is not an accurate and precise understanding.

If we examine it from a deeper, spiritual point of view, it is clear that Rei refers to the omniscient power that helps everything flow in the universe. Rei is considered an eloquent pearl that extends everything from the living to the non-living. Rei's infinite wisdom is at the center of the development of all creation. It is the reason for the creation of the galaxies, as well as the growth of life both on Earth and perhaps beyond. Rei is vital to humans in times of confusion and need for help. It also helps us when we suffer health problems or illness, something we will see more of in the future. Rei is an infinite and has omniscient power. That is why he is often called God in various religions. Different cultures have different names for Rei according to their beliefs. Because Rei is not religious, he has been incorporated into a variety of cultures whose religious doctrines are quite distinct and different.

When we consider Ki from a spiritual point of view, we see that this energy is what gives life to all things. Ki is a source of energy that runs through all living things. This includes animals, plants and even humans. When a person's Ki levels are high, he will feel strong and confident. He will have the confidence to face life's challenges. He will be able to live in the moment and enjoy it effortlessly. However, if a person's Ki is low, he will feel weak and be more likely to get sick. We get Ki from various sources in our lives. It comes from both the sun and the air, as well as from the food we eat and the rest we take. Breathing exercises and meditation can also increase the levels of Ki in our body. If someone dies, their Ki disappears from the body. Like Rei, Ki has many names in all cultures of the world. In Chinese culture, Ki is known as Chi. The people of India use the term Prana. It is also known by the names Ti and Ki in Hawaiian culture. The other titles it has received over the years include bioplasma, orgone, odic force, as well as life force.

With this understanding we can better describe Reiki as a non-physical healing force that is derived through the power of omniscience. It is a spiritually guided energetic force. This is a precise definition that helps us understand the concept more clearly and harness its power more effectively. It is closely related to the experiences of people who practice Reiki, as they realize that Reiki energy is intelligent in its own right. The healer functions more as a facilitator of the process, as the energy moves to where it is required, depending on the needs of the individual. It is not controlled by a person, so its effectiveness and power are not restricted to the expertise or knowledge of the person practicing it. This implies that Reiki cannot be used to achieve any negative intentions that a practitioner may have towards someone. Reiki energy is only capable of creating the healing effect, and not an adverse one. This is different from other similar theories. Life force energy can be controlled by the mind and could be used to produce negative effects on an individual as well as positive results.

The root of the healing power of Reiki lies in the Ki within each person that is part of their physical body. This is in contrast to the actual state that affects the physical components that make up the human body. Ki is what gives life to the organs and tissues as it flows through them. It is the flow of Ki that results in the positive health effects that the human body has. If the flow is interrupted, the organs and tissues are negatively impacted. Therefore, any obstruction of Ki energy is the main cause of many diseases.

The most significant and essential characteristic of Ki is that it is in tune with one's thoughts and feelings. Positive thoughts and emotions can help keep Ki moving in a strong way for the person. Likewise, negative or unhealthy thoughts and feelings can hinder the flow of Ki and cause a number of problems for the person. This idea is confirmed by medical professionals in Western medical practices. Many doctors believe that almost all diseases start within the brain, regardless of whether it is direct or indirect.

To understand this better, we need to realize that the mind is present throughout the body, not just in the brain. When we talk about the mind, we tend to believe that it is distinct from other parts of the body. The truth is that our mind is interconnected with the body by the nervous system, which connects with all the organs and tissues of the body. It is not just that the mind exists outside the brain, it is also present beyond the body, in an energy field known as the aura. The aura could be the reason for the energy you receive from someone when you first meet them. This aura is believed to be an aura of energy that surrounds the body up to a distance of one meter. Therefore, when we discuss the mind in later chapters of this book, it is essential to keep in mind that it encompasses the entire body and energy of the individual, not just his or her brain.

Being aware of this, we are aware that our negative thoughts do not only reside in the brain, but appear throughout the body, and even in the energy field. Thus, all the negative thoughts and emotions we have begin to accumulate in certain areas where the flow of Ki is reduced. The organs that are in these particular areas become stressed because of this. This can quickly cause health problems if the negative thoughts and feelings persist.

Since we cannot perceive negative emotions and thoughts, they are extremely difficult to eliminate. Even when a person is extremely aware of his or her thoughts, negative emotions are part of the subconscious mind. Since there is no way of knowing which ones are present and which ones are not, it is vital to find a way to get rid of them with intelligence beyond our conscious brain.

The power behind Reiki is a factor. Reiki is guided by a higher Intelligence, and therefore can identify the root of negative emotions and thoughts that we were not aware of having. The Higher Intelligence knows exactly how to fix any disruption in the flow of Ki energy and can point out the best place to channel the healing energies. Reiki can penetrate the subconscious mind and go to work, eliminating the negative thoughts and feelings that are there. When Reiki moves to an area that is unhealthy for the body, it removes any negative thought patterns and feelings that reside there, allowing a normal, healthy flow of Ki to return. In this way, the organs and tissues that are suffering are fed enough Ki to bring them back to their normal level. This is the way Ki can help someone recover from being sick to being healthy.

Because of the non-invasive nature of Reiki and its powerful healing methods, its popularity is growing in the West. Western doctors are beginning to collaborate with Reiki experts in the operating room, as their combined power can improve the chances of a healthy and successful procedure.
