    Dedication

To my God, my Father in heaven, and to His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. Without them, I could not have written this book. Nothing was written without the guidance of my Father in heaven. I never wrote anything without first praying to Him in the name of His Son Jesus Christ. I ask God that He would send one of his angels down and stand beside me to guide me while I write His Will and the Truth of His Gospel. I ask my guarding angel to watch over me to keep me safe away from all the spiritual demons. Remember this book is dedicated to God the Father and his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. Read it with that in mind and always pray before you open the pages of this hidden knowledge of His Kingdom. I told God that I am dedicating this book to Him and His Son Jesus Christ and cannot have false teaching in it. Many may say that I am not teaching the truth, but I will leave that in the hands of God and His Son Jesus. I have had visions and dreams about my mission in this life. God has revealed the truth to me, and I seen angels and devils and I know what is on the other side of the veil. I wrote this book after many years of studying the gospel. I am an ordained high priest after being called of God and feel I am qualified to write this book.

    Preface

I am solely responsible for the contents of this book, except for what I used with permission with credit given to it. It is not any church publication nor does it belong to any religion.

I started getting interested in writing this book when my grandmother on my mother's side asked me what I believed in about the Holy Bible and God. I told my grandmother that as a small child, I saw my father killed on a motorcycle accident in a fire when I was six years old, and I saw the whole thing. After seeing my father die in that terrible fire at such a young age, it changed me forever, and I started to search for the meaning of why my father suffered as he did. I knew there was a reason why God left me and my two sisters alone without a father.

In many incidents in my life, God saved me from being killed. I discovered that He really did love me, and He had a mission in this life for me to do. I accepted Jesus as my personal Savior for all the suffering he did for me. My suffering in this life is not worthy to be compare to his pain. For God loved me enough to give his only begotten Son for a sacrifice for me. I will love all mankind because you can't love God without loving his creation. Yes, I love God, my Father, and his Son Jesus Christ.

I have not been perfect, but Jesus is, and He loves me and died on the cross for my sins and all the world. I shall say I love my Lord God, my Father in heaven with all my heart, and with all my soul and with all my strength, and with all my mind; and my neighbor as myself, as God commands me to do (Luke 10:27).

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

I believe in Jesus Christ and know that I shall not perish, but have everlasting life forever. I know that everyone in the world if they believe in Jesus Christ will have everlasting life. No matter what church they belong to or attend, God will not destroy them. He will not send anyone to hell for eternality, unless he or she is one of the sons of perdition. The sons of perdition are those who have accepted the devil and his teachings (John 17:12). They will go to outer darkness (Matthew 8:11–12). Do not receive the mark of the beast, when it is offered to you. Be strong or you may fall; it is better to be killed than to receive the mark of the beast (Revelation 13:15–18).

This is why I wrote this book, so I can share it with many more in the world.

In this book about the Hidden Truth, I used the word you a lot, but I do not want you, the reader, to feel that I am directing anything I say toward you personally. Please don't take the word you that way as if I am speaking about you directly. There is no specified individual person or group of people singled out in this book. The book is written in a general matter that it may open the eyes up of all people who would care to read it. When I say you, it is speaking in a general way, regardless of who you are or what you are.

My goal in this book is to get you to believe in God the Father and his Son Jesus Christ. I hope what I write to you will help you become a better person. The mains thing is to get you to love yourself and help you feel happiness in your life. To love God and his Son Jesus Christ is what real happiness is all about. I love all people and do not judge any person or look down on anyone. God and his Son Jesus Christ is the only person that can judge you and forgive you. You are the most important person who this book was written for and I acknowledged that. I recognized you as why God wanted me to write this book. Every single person born on this earth is very precious to God and He loves every one of them and will never forget you. God grieves along with the angels in heaven when even one soul falls from grace into sinfulness.

We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.

And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. (1 John 4:6–14)

And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace be unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak; for thou hast strengthened me.

Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come.

But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince. (Daniel 10:19–21)

    Chapter 1

The Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ (Ye Shall Know the Truth from God)

The most important thing in this world is a belief in the Lord Jesus Christ and to accept him as the Son of God. One must take the name of Jesus Christ upon himself or herself as their personal savior. We must follow him.

Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. (Matthew 16:24)

How many of us could really do this? Do not feel bad if you say no. Jesus knows that we are weak, but all he wants us to do is try to live a perfect life as we can.

For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you. (John 13:15)

    For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

    Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.

Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. (Romans 3:23–28)

    There is another verse.

And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. (John 17:3)

None born on the earth that believes in Jesus Christ will perish, but all must die the physical death.

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ, our Lord. (Romans 6:23)

Death comes upon all men because all have sinned. Everyone is subject to physical death because of the presence of sin in this world, as well as their own personal sins.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever, believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

I think almost every Christian knows that verse by heart. It is a very important verse to us all. It is wonderful that by believing in Jesus Christ we shall not perish, but have everlasting life. Think about this verse, you may say you have faith, but you have no works. You say you don't even attend church anymore. The devils are believers in Jesus Christ, but will perish (James 2:19). I myself also must have faith and works. Let us all believe one must have faith and accept Jesus as the Son of God. Faith alone is not enough, for faith without good works is dead (James 2:20). Works are not enough without faith; the two must go together.

What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? Can faith save him?

If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,

And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?

Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? (James 2:14–20)

Many use Ephesians 2:8–9 to prove that we do not need works to be saved. What good is faith without good works. Faith is no good if you do nothing with it. You must have both to be saved.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is a gift of God:

Not of works, least any man should boast. (Ephesians 2:8–9)

My dear readers, I ask you to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. I also ask you to think before you act and think before you speak. Everything you do and everything you say is recorded by God. You cannot deny it or lie about it at the judgment seat.

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatever a man soweth, that he shall also reap. (Galatians 6:7)

If you want good things to happen to you, then do good things to others, and it will return to you. Try your best to overlook the weakness or faults of others. Do not do undesirable things to them because they do it to you. Do not repeat gossip or idle talk about others, but speak well of them. If you have nothing to say good about a person, it is better to say nothing at all. Remember God hears all things, and He sees all that you do. God records your very thoughts and every action within yourself like a video tape recorder. Everything will be revealed at Judgment Day. God knows every secret you have. You cannot hide anything.

Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established. (Proverbs 16:3)

For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he. (Proverbs 23:7)

You have heard many years ago someone who may hit you on the right cheek, that you should allow them to hit you on the other cheek. I don't know if we can do such a thing anymore, but the point is that if someone does you evil, you should show kindness in return. Of course, nowadays, we must protect our families from harm. A man must provide for his family.

But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel. (1 Timothy 5:8)

Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth: But I say unto you, that ye resist not evil: but whoever shall smite thee on thy cheek, turn to him the other also. (Matthew 5:38–39)

The next passages are in Matthew 7:12–23.

Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them; for this is the law and the prophets.

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works?

And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, which built his house upon a rock:

And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, which built his house upon the sand:

And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. (Matthew 7:12–27)

There is a lot to learn in these verses. If you read them again carefully, you will see that in some of these verses are descriptions of the way the world is today. Look at some of your priests, pastors, or so-called men of God who are out there in churches or on television. Some do great deeds and cast out devils in the name of Jesus, some heal the sick, and some can motivate you to a spiritual high. It is like going to a rock concert, the music will make you feel good, but when the concert is over, it is over. Likewise, many who attend these motivated churches will get a high spiritual feeling but are left without the root of the gospel. Without roots, the wind will blow them away, and they will feel lost. Do not get me wrong, all churches need a little spiritual uplifting with the power of the Holy Ghost. When I was a child, I loved the music in the old-time religion spirit with Sunday school in the Southern Baptist Church. I wish some of these songs were in all the other churches. I am sorry to say some are very boring, but not all. Some are very quiet and very humbling to the spirit. We all need some of both. This is not enough alone. Here are ten ways to help you change:

Being spiritual by loving God and mankind.

    Be humble and prayerful.

Be considerate, good, decent, and courteous toward one another.

Understand Jesus and believe in Him as the Son of God.

Come to the knowledge of His laws, His commandments, and put away ignorance.

Have clean thoughts and spoken words.

Repent of your wrongdoings, become organized, and change your ways.

Be baptized by someone with the proper authority to act in God's name.

Go out into the world and witness to other about Jesus and His laws.

Visit the needy, the sick, at home and in the hospital.

Some of these so-called men of God are not doing the will of God but are doing self-interest things, evil works, like molesting children, running off with church funds, or having a love affair, or even with a member of the congregation. Do not look at a minister, a pastor, a priest, or a bishop for fulfillment, but look at their fruits. Are they teaching the Word of God? Do they really know the Word of God? Are they getting rich off the money that they get from the church members? Are they practicing what they preach? Here is your guide: the Word of God, your Holy Scriptures. If you want the truth, go to the Word of God. Do not listen to them that will lead you away. Are you sure some Holy Scriptures are true or false? Is the Holy Bible the only Word of God? If so, which version of the Holy Bible is really the true one? Was Mary Magdalene really referred to as the apostle to the apostles? Was she really an apostle or only called by that name because she was very important to Jesus during his whole life? She was with Jesus most of the time, and they both loved each other. Mary Magdalene was the first to see his resurrected body and to see each other after the resurrection. Was Mary Magdalene married to Jesus on earth? Will Mary Magdalene be eternally married to Jesus as her husband in heaven? Is there such a thing as eternal marriage or celestial marriage? Always remember that the pathway to hell is paved with good intension. So be careful what you believe in, but don't disown all that you hear because some could be true. We will discuss these subjects as you read through this book.

There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. (Proverbs 14:12)

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. (Matthew 5:16)

Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 5:20)

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6)

When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

And before him shall be gathered all nations; and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats.

And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of the Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me; I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? Or thirsty, and gave thee drink?

When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, unto everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:

I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.

Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?

Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.

And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. (Matthew 25:31–46)

The apostles said to Jesus that other were doing good works but were not with us. Jesus answered him as recorded below.

And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us.

But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me. (Mark 9:38–39)

Do not condemn those who are not in your church that are doing good in the world, because many churches do much good and save many lost souls. Jesus said to accept them, even though they are not part of Jesus's church or his group that are teaching with him. They may not be the true church, but they are accepted by God because of the good works they do in the world. Also be friendly with all churches, whether you believe them or not. Make sure you are one of his sheep and not one of the goats. Every place of worship I walk into I treat it as holy.

When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats. (Matthew 25:31–32)

Some pretend to live a godly life and preach the word, but inside they are not the same as the outside world sees them. They preach the word for money or for the glory of man, not God. They drew near to God with their mouth, and with their lips, they do not honor God, but they have removed their heart far from him, and their fear toward God is taught by the precept of men (Isaiah 29:13). You must receive Jesus Christ into your heart.

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. (John 1:12)

Jesus Christ is at the door; all you must do is open your heart to him and let him come into you. Jesus will show you the way back to your Father in heaven.

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcome, and am set down with my Father in his throne. (Revelation 3:20–21)

I gave up everything in my life for His sake. I have picked up the cross and walked in the light of His truth. I put everything aside for Him; I walked away from the military and the power I once had. I turned my back on the weakness of the flesh and put my eyes upon his kingdom. I now have self-control over my life, if I cannot, I will live a life of celibacy, where chastity is my main goal. I have been reconciled with God the Father through the grace of Jesus Christ. I am on the path that leads to the celestial kingdom. There is no turning back now. Follow me to the knowledge of the Hidden Truth that the world has kept from you. There is another set of verses that comes from the Holy Bible in Matthew 6:19–34.

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal.

But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.

But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?

And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:

And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. (Matthew 6:19–34)

You must accept Jesus into your life, trust him, and believe in your heart the he is the Son of God. You must repent of all your sins and ask God the Father to forgive you in Jesus's name. An emotional experience may be given by the power of the Holy Ghost if you live by the Word of God and the authority of Jesus Christ as given by God the Father to him. We live by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, knowing that God the Father sent him into the world to die for us all that he might open the way back to our heavenly home. Jesus was a ransom for the original sins that Adam and Eve committed in the garden of Eden (Matthew 20:28, Mark 10:45). You must have roots in the Word of God and live the commandments the best of your ability. You must pray to God, always in the name of Jesus. God knows your heart and is not as concerned about your words as he is with your attitude toward him. Do not read prayers from a book or repetition of words but say the things you feel from your heart. Always give God the credit for the things you have accomplished in this life knowing that even the breath you take comes from him.

And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. (1 John 5:11–13)

He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. (John 14:21)

Salvation is a gift to all who believe in his name by the grace of Christ and not by works (see Ephesians 2:8–9), but exaltation is not a gift but is gained by good works and by following the laws of God. Paul called this exaltation, a crown of righteousness, which he said he earned by fighting a good fight, by finishing the course, and keeping the faith. He also said that others would gain the same crown of exaltation.

For I am now ready to be offered and the time of my departure is at hand. have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. (2 Timothy 4:6–8)

One can clearly see that Paul was not talking about salvation, which is a gift by the grace of Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8). He was talking about a greater reward that he earned by his good works, not a gift (Revelation 2:10, Revelation 3:11). There are many rewards or mansions in the kingdom of God. In the following verses in this book from John 14:2–6, and Revelation 20:12 tells us about that.

In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:2–6)

And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. (Revelation 20:12)

If you seek the truth, you must study it out in your mind. You must pray and ask God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ if the things I have been teaching you are true or not. While Jesus was teaching his apostles, they knew him, and their eyes were open to the truth as their hearts burn within them.

And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of sight.

And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures? (Luke 24:31–32)

If you will study it out and pray about it, God will show you the truth of the things I teach you. Like the apostles, you will have a burning feeling inside of you and you will know the things I teach you from scriptures are true. Not all will have this burning feeling. It depends on your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus said about the truth.

And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. (John 8:32)

Salvation comes to no man without the truth and truth comes from God. Jesus came down from God in heaven to teach us the truth. How can we learn the truth? If we know the truth, how can we be free? Do you know the meaning of this verse above? What does it mean to be free? How will knowing the truth make us free? You say to yourself, Free from what? Free from ignorance, I say, for ignorance will saved no man. Knowing the truth will keep you free from ignorance. Salvation comes to no man in ignorance. To receive the gift of salvation from Jesus Christ, one must know Jesus and understand his laws. Ignorance cannot recognize truth. Knowing the truth sets the soul free. We come into the knowledge of God and we are free from ignorance. Intelligence is the glory of God. Jesus is the light of the world; he guides us to all truths.

Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. (John 8:12)

Build your life like the man who built his house upon the rock, not upon the sand. The wise man built his house upon the rock—this comes from the Holy Bible in Matthew 7:24–27.

Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. (Matthew 7:24–27)

I will close this chapter with the words of a church song.

    I Stand All Amazed

I stand all amazed at the love Jesus offers me,

    Confused at the grace that so fully he proffers me;

I tremble to know that for me he was crucified,

That for me, a sinner he suffered, he bled and died.

    I marvel that he would descend from his throne divine to rescue a soul as rebellious and proud as mine;

That he should extend his great love unto such as I,

Sufficient to own, to redeem, and to justify.

I think of his hands pierced and bleeding to pay the debt!

Such mercy, such love, and devotion can I forget.

No, no, I will praise and adore at the mercy seat,

Until at the glorified throne I kneel at his feet.

Oh, it is wonderful that he should care for me,

Enough to die for me! Oh, it is wonderful, wonderful to me!

(I Stand All Amazed, Charles H. Gabriel)

I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep. I am the good shepherd, I am the good shepherd, and my sheep, and am know my sheep, and known of mine. As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. (John 10:11–15)

    Chapter 2

The Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ (The Fall of Adam and the Atonement)

I feel this is the most important chapter of all, the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Before the very foundation of the world, Jesus Christ was chosen in heaven to be our Savior. We as his adopted children must follow the will of our Father in heaven. So that we will be without blame because of what Adam and Eve would do in the garden of Eden. We were all predestinated into sin because God knew what Adam and Eve would do already and made a way for us to be redeemed through the blood of Jesus Christ by his death.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;" (Ephesians 1:3–7)

Jesus Christ was prophesied in the Old Testament to come to bear our transgressions, and like a lamb to the slaughter, he gave his life for us all.

Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. (Isaiah 53:4–7)

At the time of the birth of Jesus, God made known to the shepherds in a field nearby that this child called Jesus, born in Bethlehem, would be the Savior of the world.

And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.

And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.

And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us.

And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger.

And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child.

And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds.

But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart.

And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them. (Luke 2:8–20)

Without the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, there would be no hope for mankind because Adam brought death into the world by disobeying God's commandment. Someone had to pay for that original sin for all mankind, so God sent a Savior to the world that was without sin.

For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.

For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. (1 Corinthians 15:21–22)

How did death come into the world by man? It was by Adam and Eve.

And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.

And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.

    The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;

And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone.

And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia.

And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates.

And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

And out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.

And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.

    And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed. (Genesis 2:7–25)

The whole chapter in the Holy Bible, Genesis 3:1–24, gives a better background of what really happened in the garden of Eden.

Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:

But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden.

And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?

And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.

And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?

And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.

And the Lord God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.

And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:

And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

    And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;

    Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;

In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.

Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them.

And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.

So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life. (Genesis 3:1–24)

Adam and Eve fell into sin by taking and eating the forbidden fruit. Eve gave in to the temptation of the devil. The devil was in the form of a snake. Adam followed Eve, so they both fell and will die a physical death. Remember the verses you read in this book above from Genesis 3:3? God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. You cannot believe the devil, who said in verse 4, Ye shall not surely die: 1 Corinthians 15:21–22 will confirm this for you in your book.

For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.

For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. (1 Corinthians 15:21–22)

Death was brought into the world by the sin of Adam and Eve, but God gave the gift of his only begotten Son Jesus Christ who died on the cross for mankind to pay for that original sin.

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23)

You know how sin was brought into the world because you have just read about what Adam and Eve did when they disobeyed God. The gift of eternal life is given to mankind by the death of Jesus Christ when he was crucified. Because of the death of Jesus Christ, who died for us all, we shall be reconcile to our God the Father. It is by the blood of Christ as being blameless and having no reproach that when we stand before God at the Judgment Day, that we are saved.

    For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled

In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: (Colossians 1:19–22)

There is nothing anyone can do to gain salvation and eternal life on their own. It is only by the grace of Jesus Christ who died for us.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Not of works, lest any man should boast. (Ephesians 2:8–9)

The verse John 3:15–18 tells you what God ask of you in exchange for this gift.

That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (John 3:15–18)

It was not an accident that Adam and Eve felt into sin, nor was it an obstructive to God's plan, or even a wrong turn during the start of humanity on earth. If man Adam have not fallen, he would have lived forever in the garden of Even in an innocence state. When Adam and Eve felt it became a benefit to mankind, it was a part of the God's plan, that man gain knowledge and the freedom to choose for themselves. God knew that man would fall, but man had the choice to do what he wanted. Adam and Eve chose to reject what God told them and listened to the deception of the devil who said to them that they would not die but gain knowledge and be like upon God. By this act, man was certainly given the opportunity to gain knowledge, both good and evil, to experience joy and suffering, and to know what pain and pleasure was like on earth. After living on earth in mortality and gaining much experience, they would have a greater appreciation of God's plan and his kingdom. Our Father in heaven never wanted human beings to have the knowledge of evil, but he knew to appreciate goodness, man must also have the knowledge of evilness too. God wanted us to experience only good, but because he is the God of love, so he allowed us the power to choose between the two. He will not force any person to choose righteous over evil, we must choose for ourselves. God will not force any man or woman into the kingdom of God. They must come of their own free will by following the commandments of God. The Father of heaven allowed evil by giving Lucifer, the angel of light, his free will, who brought evil into the world.

How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. (Isaiah 14:12–14)

Lucifer persuaded a third of the host of heaven to follow him by waging war against God. Lucifer became known as the great red dragon, the old serpent, called the devil and Satan after he rebelled against God.

And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. (Revelation 12:3–4)
