God has been giving me these poems ever since I was a young child in school. Ten years ago, I started to keep them, as I believe God was speaking to me through the poems.

Requirements of Man

The Lord has shown us the life he requires of man.

We are to walk and do good whenever we can.

Good is what God has commanded us to do;

He requires us to live a life that is true,

Justly conforming to his will every way.

Love is bowing on our knees to pray.

Mercy, his greatest gift that he shows,

Walking in his footsteps as onward we go.

Humble, he requires us to be.

What a Savior who loves you and me!

These are in Micah 6:8.

After we accept Jesus, he welcomes us into heaven’s gate.

Also in Ecclesiastes 12:13,

"Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter:

Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this

is the whole duty of man."

Let God Lead the Way

No matter where you go or what you do,

II Chronicles 6:6 says there is a God who cares for you.

He holds the world in his hand

And would like to be in all your plans.

His mercies are new every day.

O, want you to please let him lead the way.

God gives us the sun

To brighten our way.

God gives us friends

To help us enjoy our days.

God gives us nights;

Our bodies to rest.

Yes, he gives us families,

Our lives to bless,

Sun, friends, nights, and families,

God gave them all to us.

O, the wonders of his love

That reaches from him to us.

My voice, I lift up to you.

My dear sweet Jesus, Lord and King,

I ask you to forgive my sins.

For you alone knows everything,

If I am in the valley weeping

Or down on my knees in prayer.

I know the communication lines

Will never be overpowered.

Your ways are so much higher than my ways,

So your answers are not always mine.

The results are the best for your child;

They are Holy and Divine.

Yes, I know I can depend on you, Lord.

You are my everything.

You are the one that gives me peace;

That makes my heart to sing,

So I can sing like David.

How excellent is thy name!

The name of my sweet Jesus,

Savior, Lord, and King.
