About this ebook
This book is about trust and dependence upon God and his saving grace. We must always seek his wisdom, knowledge, guidance, and divine protection. At times, this Christian journey can appear to be a bit burdensome and tedious. However, this book can make this journey worthwhile and a little easier. We must boldly approach the throne of God to seek his face and not his hand. As my faith continues to grow in God, I am learning that developing a deeper and deeper relationship with him is what he desires. To get to this level of intimacy with him, we must go through a school of testing and suffering.During trials and tribulations, character, faith, trust, endurance, and perseverance are produced to establish, settle, and strengthen us. God has placed something inside of each of us that we must give birth to. He wants to make sure that he can entrust us with his time, gifts, talents, and everything else that he has given to us. I admit that God's discipline may seem to be painful at the time, but it will yield the peaceable fruit of righteousness (Heb. 12:11). I am learning that it is divine to ask God to humble you daily. Don't wait to be humbled by him because of being stubborn or disobedient. He will do the exalting. It is my prayer that as God continues to look at each of us, he will begin seeing more and more of the image of his dear Son, Jesus Christ. May we all come completely back to the heart of worship and realize that it is all about God. He is worthy of all honor, glory, and praise! Hallelujah! He reigns! Amen.

Inspired Poetry - Pretrece Richard
Praise
Holy God, your name we praise,
And we worship you with our hands raised.
Help us to remember that by grace we’re saved,
Your only begotten Son, you sent to earth and gave.
May we forever walk with thee,
Your face only we long to see.
Keep us humble before your throne,
By your Spirit we’ll continue to pray and groan.
Give us the strength to rejoice—
Staying close to you and hearing your voice,
Forgive us as we forgive others;
Always loving our sisters and brothers
With the coming of each and every new day,
Please go before us, paving and leading the way.
Plant our feet on a firm and rock-solid ground;
Nothing will ever shake our faith and turn us around
Praise is like a sweet aroma and very common
Peter demonstrated this in preaching the first Gospel sermon,
Abiding and confiding in faith, hope, and love
Is like angelic music in your home above.
Let nothing but joy and peace flood the soul
As we seek to do your will ever so bold.
Praising your sacred name morning, noon and night—
Please rekindle the fire and restore our spiritual sight.
Faith in Action
Lord, give us a heart to praise and worship you,
May we grow in faith and forever be true,
Help us to love and serve in action,
In this world, there are so many distractions,
Your presence is with us wherever we go,
Teach us to rest in thee and take things slow
As we labor and work in your kingdom,
Keep us gliding in your liberty and freedom,
There are beautiful and precious souls in our path,
Let your light shine through us and they’ll be saved from wrath,
We are called to help the poor and those in need,
Strengthen our faith to reach out to them, please,
Faith in action is what you ask and really require,
Create in us pure hearts for all to forever admire.
Majesty
Lord, as we look around at the beauty of your majesty,
Please cast away any fear, doubt, and anxiety.
The earth declares the hand of your work
Into the image of your Son, please make
The clouds in the sky,
They are oh so fluffy and high!
The latter rains you send
As a token of the forgiveness of sin
Wow! Just listening to the birds singing
Remind us of church bells that are ringing.
The blowing of the raging wind
Assures us that we are your friend.
Sitting on the sandy beach,
We can feel your love within reach.
Your majesty is enthroned in awe.
The work of your hands is an amazing wow!
The Goodness of God
O that men would give thanks for your goodness
Into the chambers of our hearts you are looking
Each new day you give us a new beginning
Your amazing strength helps us to keep winning
After the rain, you give beautiful golden sunshine
Thank you for being so loving, gentle, and kind
I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. (Ps. 27:13 NIV)
Praise Him
The waves of the sea toss to and fro,
Unto Jesus I run and go,
The wind is high,
And I stop to sigh.
It’s time for me to sing and
