A Prayer

God, grant us the will to see,

The way you intend life to be.

Give us the ability to unfold

The love you sent to our soul.

Let us rest, rule, and abide

In thee, casting out the enemy.

On wingless doves, we could be searching,

Seeking out through all the earth

The beginning of our birth.

But through your love, you want us to be

A people worthy to serve only thee.

Father, continue to stretch out your hand

To this, your people, and your land.

God’s Love

Lord of splendor and God of love,

Bless this world from heaven above.

Grant us wisdom so we might see

A better life for those to be.

Let your light shine thru out this land,

And give us peace thru heaven’s plan.

Let our hearts not falter in thee.

But strengthen our minds in victory.

Walk with us with heavenly love

And let our hearts stay with thee above.

Father of heaven, we ascend with grace,

Always knowing we have won this race.

Amen.

Be Not Dismayed

When the darkness of life has gotten you down,

Remember our Savior is always around.

We only have to kneel in prayer

And call on His name without despair.

He’ll come to our aid and see to our needs

Renewing the Spirit that Christians must feed.

So be not dismayed by the things of this world,

Remember that our Savior

Has made each of us His pearl.
