      God’s Lovely Web

      God wove a web of loveliness of clouds and trees and birds,

      But made nothing as beautiful as the beauty of words…

      Words of love sent by angels to all here and up above,

      Beautiful words of life and forgiveness and a never-ending love…

      Words sent up to the highest peak,

      Words sent down to the lowly and the meek…

      Words that come from the heart and forevermore to be heard,

      The everlasting sweet song of God and His Holy Word…

      Can you imagine the Words of God that He says personally to you,

      Words of enlightenment and truthfulness for His Words are always true…

      Quiet words spoken in your spirit and heart, strong words for you to hear,

      Words of peace, words of love, words just for you as you draw Him near…

      God’s lovely web was made to encompass everyone and hold them tight,

      To dispel the onslaught of evil and guide them to His glorious light…

      A light to shine and to show everyone the pathway to His glory,

      And a strong web to enshroud all as they hear and experience His story…

      Higher than the Mountain

      The mountain is high, the valley is low,

      Sometimes it is difficult which way to go…

      Out of the rain and into the fire,

      You best take it slow and be certain of your desire…

      I desire to write words for everyone to please,

      But when the words don’t come, there is nothing to seize…

      So I go to God and seek Him, and I always find,

      A God willing to help me, a God who is loving and kind…

      Even sometimes when I sink into despair,

      My God lifts me up, and I know that He is there…

      He is always there whenever someone decides to call,

      He is loving, caring, and uplifting to one and all…

      He doesn’t care if you are about to swing on the gallows pole,

      He cares about your eternity and your very soul…
