We are born into this world hopefully without the scars from being shot out of the womb and the doctor couldn’t catch us so we hit the floor. 

But life has a way of teaching us about gravity, accidents, injuries and unfortunately even abuse. 

Many times, women and men stay in abusive relationships just to keep a roof over their heads and keep their babies fed and warm. 

Thankfully, there are more and more Domestic Violence resources available for all mankind. 

But back when I was growing up, questioning a parent's behavior would have got you knocked into another galaxy.

So, you kept your head down and just kept living for the future. 

Complex PTSD may begin when they are under 5 years old. But it means multiple traumas throughout life.

One definition says this:  "Complex post-traumatic stress disorder https://www.mind.org.uk  (complex PTSD, sometimes abbreviated to c-PTSD or CPTSD) is a condition where you experience some symptoms of PTSD along with some additional symptoms, such as: difficulty controlling your emotions. feeling very angry or distrustful towards the world."

For instance, when I was 18 months old I had hernia surgery on my lower abdomen. The pain was so horrendous that I bit my mother's arm so hard it left a scar visible on her right are her whole life on her right arm.
