I remember standing in front of the door as my head was split open and pouring blood. I kept asking my mother if I was going to die. She kept reassuring me that everything would be okay. I wanted to believe her, but I couldn’t. Soon after my attacker threw a washcloth on the dirty carpet where the dog slept and followed with these words... he’s faking it. This sadly was only one of the times in my life that I thought it was going to end. All thanks to my big brother. I used to write him notes. Specifically, apology notes. At four years old a note went like this... "I’m sorry I made you mad. Please let me be sorry.
