Man's Search for Meaning recounts the traumatic experiences of world-renowned psychiatrist Viktor Frankl in Nazi concentration camps, as well as how he created his logotherapy therapeutic technique. About The Author
Viktor Frankl was a Psychiatrist and Psychotherapist from Austria. He is the originator of logotherapy and a survivor of Nazi concentration camps. The third school of Viennese psychotherapy, logotherapy, is highly acknowledged. According to Frankl, an individual's basic motive is the desire for meaning in life. As a result, the fundamental goal of psychotherapy should be to assist the client in discovering this meaning. Before the Nazi regime, Frankl obtained a degree in medicine and directed a female suicide prevention
