The Menopause Bible - Gertrude Swanson
Introduction
In this book, you’ll be taught everything that you need to learn in how to best handle this natural stage in every woman’s life! We will also address some common myths about the subject.
All women undergo menopause at some point in their lives. Menopause can cause symptoms such as hot flashes or other discomforts. However, that is not always the case. You may not experience hot flashes. And if you do, it will probably take years to reach menopause. Misinformation and myths dominate menopause. It is essential to educate yourself and learn as much as you can.
Many women are unaware of the signs, symptoms, and treatment options for menopause. A toxic combination has caused this information vacuum: medical providers' inability to meet their patients' educational and treatment needs and medical misogyny, which has a long history of neglecting women. The older they get, the greater the general dislike for women.
We don't hear about women going through menopause. Menopause is not often mentioned. Menopause is often a topic women are reluctant to discuss with their friends.
Women have to navigate social media and traditional news and magazines with information of varying quality. Misinformation and even disinformation are also possible. This is because the pharmaceutical industry and sellers of supplements and other natural
products exploit the ignorance and silence about menopause.
Chapter I: Definition of Menopause
Menopause is the permanent cessation (or absence) of menstruation. It usually occurs one year after the last menstrual cycle. The depletion of the follicular pool causes menopause. For centuries, the mean age for natural menopause has been 50-51 years. This has been true for many different cultures. VMS, also known as hot flashes/night sweats, is associated with menopause. It is most common with 80% of FMP.
Other symptoms may include vaginal dryness and incontinence. It is not known if menopause is to blame or if aging plays a role. Increased risk of breast cancer, cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, and cardiovascular disease in early menopause has been associated with increased risk.
Menopause: the basics
Most women live one-third to one-half of their lives after menopause. By the time they transition to menopause, it's nearly half.
Hormone fluctuations can cause a variety of symptoms. It can be daunting for women to think that one body part is unique. Many women find it easier to accept that they are not the only ones suffering from these symptoms. Women need to understand which symptoms indicate a more severe condition and which are just bothersome and not dangerous.
While the quality of life is essential, menopause can also be associated with various health problems. These problems are not just a part of women's health care but a central concern. In the United States, nearly four hundred thousand women die from heart disease. That's almost one in three women. By comparison, breast cancer kills about 40,000 women. Breast cancer is more common in women at higher risk for cardiovascular disease or breast cancer.
Be informed
If people were concerned with menopause, the information overload might not be so great. It is essential to be informed because menopause will soon affect more than half of the world's population. Menopause is not a disease but a natural part of women's lives.
This natural process has opened up an excellent opportunity for the pharmaceutical industry. More research is underway. You need to dig deeper to find information that will help menopausal women. There is very little information available.
You can search for academic articles, but they may not provide you with the detailed information you need to answer practical questions. This book can be the missing link. It is designed to help women make informed, objective decisions about their health based on their experience with menopause.
Menopause is not a disease
The symptoms of menopause, including all symptoms, cannot cause death. Every day, many women die due to low estrogen levels. You are more likely to develop health problems after menopause. It is well known that estrogen plays a critical role in women's overall health. This includes
