2 1N5.ORG
This is a letter I wrote to the Cincinnati-based non-profit organization, 1N5.org. Their mission is to stop the stigma surrounding mental illness through advocacy. They have fundraisers and share stories of people who are fighting the battle of mental illness. They have a website and can also be found all across social media.
To Whom It May Concern,
I hope that sharing my story helps others within your organization. I was first diagnosed with bipolar disorder with psychotic features in 2006. Since then, I have been diagnosed with panic disorder/generalized anxiety disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, agoraphobia, and claustrophobia. I have dedicated my life to helping others, spreading awareness, and ending stigma. I have a social media page, for which I am the administrator named Mental Health Awareness and Online Support
. I am also a published poet at maverickmagazine.com. Both are free resources for anyone interested. I have written 3 books, with my newest book just published titled, The Last Day of July: 13 Years of Madness
. All 3 books are available on Amazon. Thanks for your time in reading my story.
Sincerely,
John E. Medl
