      This is not an easy poem to write because I lost my wife

      She was the recipient of my love and the love of my life

      She and I were interconnected, so we knew what the other would say

      When she died and left this realm, it was a dark, dark day.

      I loved her and she loved me, but it wasn’t all a bed of roses
