    I, Deborah Melvin, am the sister of Douglas Lee Smalls. We were very close siblings and we confided in each other. Douglas entrusted me to make sure his poetry gets published and I am fulfilling his wish. This poetic art collection will give you insight into how deep my brother’s intellect was. Originally from Philadelphia, I relocated to Jacksonville to be closer to my family and my brother’s final resting place.
