    For my wife,

    The beacon of light

Also, for Mom, Dad, Summer and Shelby,Uncle Matt and his family, Mark and his family, family members that have passed on and that continue to punch the ticket of everlasting inspiration.

For my wife’s family, I know, I know, I have a dry sense of humor, it’s too late.

For Paul, Spiritual and Fitness Guru and Marilyn always wondering when will these guys shut up!

For Hunter Jackson, our unborn child. You will soon be here. Everything will be in its right place.

For our cat Wilson Dylan aka Tiger aka That needs to go in the litter box buddy, It’s a cat’s world!

    DUNGEONS

    sweet little victories

    assuming decadence

    foolish tidal waves

and now she lets you in

while the milk has gone warm

while acts of terror are committed

    as you look at me

as if all the cake is yours

    you fool

I know dungeons that scream volumes of atrocities

    THE STORM

    a storm opens up

    the future shits feathers

on a night when our affair

    is brought under pleading light

I bid my love a quick recess

    meanwhile knives thrown at me

    meanwhile I mold the truth

into a fine believable art form

    the storm gets violent

knocking out power and flooding roads

there is a crack in the infrastructure

and debt being sewn into our eyeballs

where lust once was just candy

    SCATTERED LEAVES

    I employ a certain language

It necessarily doesn’t come from the heart

    As it mirrors my condition

However peculiar or dire it may be

    the frozen rivers unexplored

    and the dead trees

    which hang like retired romances

from the time I knew you

    as a central brain trust

    we walk home now

and speak gallantly of our terrible heartaches

    might we stand apart someday

like that old man once decorated

of futuristic cosmic love now stands

    as scattered leaves

    LOVE

    As easy as love begins

    it ends ugly

love is a broken down car on the side of the road

love is a lone wolf howling the wee hours of the a.m.

    love is
