Abdulafeez Adesokan is a nerdy writer of romance, comedies, poetry, and the occasional song. When he's not busy working as a Safety Officer, he’s writing. He spends his time learning Spanish and watching superhero movies. He's currently living with his wife and three kids in Lagos, Nigeria.

This is a collection of my poems for more about twenty years. It contains the simpler poems as well as the complex ones, others are even arranged like songs. With one or two addictions from fellow poets. The recurring theme is falling in love, heartbreak as well as sadness and the other emotions that comes with the fluctuations of life in general. I hope you enjoy reading them. Thank you kindly.

I am in love with that connection between people

that links their hearts and minds and binds their souls

in a magical intertwine

happening slowly over a long period of time

or in the span of a rhyme.

I am in love with L❤VE!

SUNSET

I just want to feel you

Let's go anywhere that we can finally

Be together you and me entirely

Free from all the worries that binds

I want to wake up to you

To see you when I wake up staring at me

My hands inside yours clasped very tightly

Knowing that you're always beside.

I have wanted to be with you since the day we met.

Matching footsteps in the sand or in our wheelchairs.

I belonged to you that day you looked at me and said

Take my hand and run with me until our sun sets

We'll run until our sun sets and done

Let's grow old together

I'll warm you up when autumn turns to winter.

Wipe away your tears on my right shoulder

I will be the rock that you lean on
