In Memory of My Stepfather: Mr. Richard Charles Anglin
This book is dedicated in memory of my stepfather Mr. Richard Charles Anglin. The first time I met Mr. Anglin, I knew that there was something special about him. There was something about the love that he had for God and the love and respect that he had for my mother. His spirit was humble and meek, yet Mr.Anglin stood strong as a man should knowing what to say and how to say it. Out of his mouth came words of wisdom. In my heart, I believe when God made him, he made others with the same love that Mr. Anglin had. I watched his life very closely, but he probably did not know that I was observing him. All I could see was the God in him and that stood out to me the most. Sometimes I would ask, Where did this man come from?
Never did I see a pretender. He always kept a smile on his face. The memories of him will always be good because that’s all I saw in him. When we lost our father, I was hurt but God sent him into our lives. God had given us another father that loved the Lord. He almost took the place of my father. He will always be in my heart.
Memories of your love, Minnie.
The Brother’s Keeper Prayer (Pray This Prayer)
Father God, In the name of your son Jesus. I pray that you will put love in my heart for my brother so that I will be able to treat my brother with the love that you have for us. I want to be at peace with my brother. I don’t want to be angry with my brother and hold it in my heart. Help me to forgive so that I could be forgiven. If my brother needs my help I want to be there for him. Help me to be more concerned about others and to keep them in my prayers. Most of all help me to live a life before my brother that he may see the life of Jesus in me. After all, at the end of the day I will not be judged by how my brother treats me but by how I treat him. I am my brother’s keeper, Amen.
Dedication
When I look back at my childhood days as to how I’ve grown up now, to be honest, there’s only one person that I can really call my inspiration, and that person is my mom. My mother is the type of person that never looks at how a situation might look. She’s not one to give up all hope or get frustrated. Instead, she is the type of person that is going to pray the prayer of faith and work the Word, knowing that God controls everything. That’s something my mom always taught me growing up, how to pray and believe in God. As a matter of fact, there were a lot of times growing up when I would look at the other kids and want the things they had, but being a divorced parent, my mother just couldn’t give me all those things. Sometimes I would get mad, but now I know that she was giving me something better than any material item in the world. She was giving me knowledge about God, and I am very grateful for that. Even now, I use all the teachings that she gave me in my everyday life. I also learned from my mother that no matter what people say you cannot do, as long as you put God first and believe in yourself, you can accomplish any goals you set in your life. I know without a doubt in my mind that my mom is a worker of God. I say that because she is always doing something positive, always telling people about God, always giving not to gain notoriety or to accumulate personal gain but doing things with the hope that she can motivate or draw someone closer to God. With me knowing that my mother is a very positive person, and always about God’s business makes me the happiest son in the world. To me, my mom is a hero because over the years I’ve watched her go from working two or three jobs just to make ends meet, to not being able to work, to becoming a very successful writer without having a high school diploma. I know that my mother could have never accomplished anything if she didn’t have a personal relationship with God. That motivates me because I know on a personal level of the all the trials and tribulations my mother went through. She could have easily just given up and accepted defeat, but instead she developed a close relationship with God, and never stopped believing in herself. Your youngest son, Isaac Jones.
Mentally, I once stood on a sinking boulder in a deep sea of doubt. Unable to swim, I sought guidance. My Aunt Minnie taught me to surrender my fears to God and that through his son, Jesus’s name, my prayers would be heard by God. I learned from interactions with my aunt that I am covered by God’s eternal grace and mercy. I was not born with a silver spoon in my mouth nor is my background squeaky clean, but through the mentoring, I received from my aunt, I have realized that with God I can do all things. I have learned to challenge God to live up to his promises. He promised me that he would not put more on me than I could bare. I now stand on a sturdy boulder looking out at my future. I thank God for allowing me to have my Aunt Minnie in my life. Your nephew, Carlos C. Gamble.
My grandmother is very strong-hearted. Through the years, she has endured so much pain. She manages to hold herself up through all the pain and heartache. I know she loves me in spite of everything I’ve done that might have upset her. I have witnessed many sacrifices that my grandma has made. She sacrifices a lot of things to keep us happy. She bends over backwards to put a smile on our faces. I thank her for the many sacrifices she has made. Loyalty means to always be there no matter what. I can say that my grandma has always been here for me. When I lost my parents, my grandmother was there. When I had no friends, you’d better bet that my grandma was my best friend. Basically, when no one else was there, my grandmother was there. Without this strong hearted, loyal, sacrificing lady in my life, things would be even harder to go through. Your granddaughter, Ambrasha Jones.

I would like to give thanks to the eternal God who has been with me all my life. I will always acknowledge Him as long as I live. I will not let a day go by without thanking Him. Without God, I cannot do anything. He is the reason that I have something to write about. He is my Life.
Thank you, Father God.
I would also like to thank my family and friends who have kept me lifted up in prayer. I would like to thank my loving mother Mrs. Katie Lee Lane Russaw Anglin who has shown me what being a good mother is all about.
Thank you, Mother.
I truly thank God for my Pastor and Prophet, Melvin White and his lovely wife Annette. Watching your life of faith has encouraged me in many ways to step out on faith. It is a great honor to be under a faith ministry. You are an inspiration to my family.
Thank you, Pastor White.

Reason For Writing This Book
There is no doubt in my heart that God has inspired me to write this book. I don’t really know if my book is the only book with this title and it doesn’t really matter to me. During my writing I was instructed to read different books of the bible. Before I was even finished writing my last book God gave me the title to this book. I was told that there were pastors that don’t discuss the topics that I wrote about. The evil of these things has come up before God. While writing this book, as the spirit came forth I began to look at my life, I realized I needed to do some repenting. When God uncovers you, and it doesn’t look good you need to make some things right. I knew then that God loved me enough to correct me. As you read each chapter, you will know that this is of God. This isn’t just something that I made up or threw together for someone to read. God almighty has his hands upon this and there is nothing I can do but write what he tells me. When God instructs you to do something you had best find yourself doing it because he isn’t short of people. He is the eternal God and I give him all the praise, honor, and glory. Forever.

Did You Make Peace With Your Brother?
Matthew 5:9 - Blessed are the peace makers for they shall be called the sons of God. -N.K.J.V
As I sat, Sunday, December 25, 2011, at 2:45 p.m. writing my next book titled You Are Your Brother’s Keeper. God has inspired me to write at least five more books. If someone would have told me years ago that I would be doing this, I would have laughed at them. I really do like to read but I never liked to write. When I was in school, I hated to write. Now God has given me joy for writing and I love it. I find it a great honor to be used by God in any line of work that blesses the body of Christ.
I thank God for allowing me to see Christmas day. I know that people normally would be eating and celebrating with friends and loved ones today. There isn’t anything wrong with that. We need to spend time with our family and friends. Life is short. This year kind of went by fast. We never know. We could not be here next Christmas or tomorrow. We need to enjoy every day as if it was our last, I wanted to do something different today. Pushing the plate back and sacrificing. God has been good to me. There are times when we need to hear from God. In order for me to write this book I need to be in the very presence of God hearing what He has to say to me. I can’t just write anything down on this paper. My mind has to be in tune with the mind of Christ.
God has been dealing with me very strongly about writing this book. In fact, on January 9, 2010, I wrote a song titled (You Better Be Careful How You Treat Your Brother) Not knowing that God had a reason for it. and that I was going to be writing a book about the song. Sometimes, in this walk of life we get off track while thinking it’s all about us. Well, it’s not all about us. It’s about God and the love we have for others. God didn’t have to send his only begotten son to die on the cross for us, but he did. If the creator of all things can do that for us, we should be able to help someone else.
Jesus made a way for us to live in perfect peace. We can also do things in a peaceful way. One day I was working in the outreach ministry and a sister said to me "Sister Minnie, I have a problem with you. I asked her what problem she had with me, and she told me I left church one Sunday and didn’t speak to her. I repented to her by telling her that if I had acted in any way to offend her to please forgive me and she did. I wanted to make peace with her because sometimes we could offend people and not know it. Everyone may not feel the same way. Some people may look at every little thing you do, or don’t do where there may be others that don’t pay attention to every little thing. The main thing is that I made peace with her that day. I knew that when we’re working for the Lord, we need to be on
