Introduction
Intentionality is a key to a happy life because it means that we are in control of our lives and doing what we want to do. To live intentionally, we must ensure that what we are doing at any given moment (with our time, money, and energy) is a decision we are making ourselves.
If your intention is to write the great American novel, then I hope you succeed. If your intention is to watch every sitcom episode made in the 1980s, then it is your life, so that is just fine, too. Any ethical intention that you choose is acceptable. Your life is yours to use as you please.
What is not acceptable is a life in which outside forces (e.g., social media companies, fast food restaurants, or
